Apple Garden (Mainpat) - Garden in Barima - Surguja, India

The maintainance work is not upto the mark. The idea was great, implementation was good too. But, latter on the apple plants are dying, and not managed properly. Just visited the site a feq days back. Cows were grazing in the properly, damaging the plants.

Beautiful agriculture area which grows apple, varities of potato, plum, cherry, tomato, pine apple, kiwi, grapes. You can gain knowledge of the various variety of these vegetables and fruits. This is a new initiative taken by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mainpat, under Agriculture University, Raipur.

This is a agriculture research centre of IGNOU...not much to see during winters as most of the plants are dormant and dominantly potato based research is there so loads to f variety of potato plants you can see....Apple trees are worth viewing during April when apple will be there on trees....it's good who want to see how vegetables are grown on plants and trees

Nice place to visit. It has a cheerful atmosphere. With full of sweet and sour fruits around.
