Best spot to view the sunrise. Pleasant breeze and peaceful place to spend sometime. Beautiful landscapes can be captured. Worth visiting this place during sunrise and sunset which is nearby. Breath taking hill top views and you can get the best candid shots as nobody is going to disturb you.

Nice beach with decent crowd and water clarity also fine(not that great). Best beach to watch the sunrise and spend good time with family in the evenings. But there's not much amenities like food, washrooms. Only lite snacks are available. Better to carry your own food and water. The road way is decent(recently restored the patch holes). There is a popular template at this beach and popular festival will be celebrated on ShivRatri.

This place is awesome. Early morning views are crazy. People do visit here early morning and you find heaven here. You will surely enjoy the silence of nature and waves wow.... Just amazing . This place is recommended for family, couples and singles

Beautiful & clean beach. The route to beach we took went via steel plant sectors which is covered with lots of greenery n trees. Coming to beach, it's moderately crowded with people. Very few stalls / vendors. Water is clean and ambience is very pleasant. Near by there's a temple also. Good place to calm your senses and cheer up!!

The Apikonda beach is the picture perfect setting of the sea touching the hills. The clear blue waters and the mystical seaside makes it the favourite beach for many. The best view is seen in the early morning before sunshine, Sunset when the sea remains calm. Its magical !!! Best way to reach is to turn right side exactly from the Vizag steel plant main gate

This is my fourth visit to Appikonda beach and it never disappoints any visitor with its calmness and the large landscape that surrounds it. It is apprx 15KM from steel plant main gate, the mode of transport that you choose to travel is upto you and the road connectivity is spanning until the beach(You can check in my pictures that are posted). This is a nice get away place for people who are willing to spend their time near to shore without any hussle and crowd(Usually it is not the same with beaches located in the city). There are no eatery available so i would suggest you to pack food from food along with water and other essential items. There is a public toilet constructed but not sure on the standards with which it is being maintained. For elders who come along with the family, there is lord siva temple that can be one of the place to visit and for youngsters you can carry any portable stuff that will fit into your vehicle which can be setup to play.
