I keep exploring new places for breakfast in and around Bangalore. It's my hobby. I rate places based on their taste, quality, price and cleanliness of the food they serve. I visited Apoorva Sagar today for breakfast. This place doesn't disappoint at all. It's a small hotel. Self service hotel. I tried masala dosa, idli, vada, bele bath and coffee. Al of them tasted well. Masala dosa was mouth watering. Idli - soft, vada- crisp, yummy bele bath and strong and aromatic filter coffee prepared using Bayer's coffee powder. It's good value for money. I would recommend this place for breakfast.

Typical Bangalorean small-sized fast food joint. A good and complete meal at ~40 bucks. Owner is very cheerful thus creating a positive atmosphere. Good for a quick meal unless you are one of those aristocrats looking for ultra luxury in everything!!
Very honest people. Not many dishes, but what they serve, they serve neatly and decently. They returned the change to me, after five days, which I forgot to collect. Even I forgot about it. But they called me when I was passing by, reminded me and gave my change. Nearly 450 rupees they gave me. I'm surprised at their honesty.
Simple & grand well i am not disappointed with the taste it is as same as 5 year ago I haven't been able to make to apoorva Sagar Veg in a long time So glad taste hasn't changed much (I loved Set Dosa which was tasty and batter used seemed fresh which had great combo of chatni and sagu). The kitchen was open where u can watch how your food is made and It seemed very tidy and clean to me. The biller was nice to the customer as well the staffs looking over. If you are near jnana bharathi (university Quartrus) then you should visit the place for sure and make sure you know that only veg is available. Not a good news for a non vegetarian. Well i would recommend you to taste dosa, idli (it is great with chatni) in morning and rice bath or rice sambar would be great in the afternoon but in a whole some if you are confused about the choice just go with meals overall it's okay.
