My Father-in-Law Mr. Jayaraman had been diagnosed with Large subacute/ acute on subacute subdural haematoma is noted in the right fronto-parietal region, maximum thickness measuring 2.5 cm through MRI when he came to chennai for his Master health checkup. Our family doctor and best friend Dr. Balakumar has advised us to consult with Senior Neuro Surgeon Dr. Joy Varghese immediately and Dr. Joy is jem and advised us precise steps of procedures to fix the problem when we met him first time itself and gave great confidence. Through Dr. Joy's wast experience, both Angeo and burhole procedures was successfully completed. Very big thanks to Dr. Joy on his friendly approach and confidence to the patient and family members and ofcourse timely support by Dr. Balakumar through out the whole process. We would also like to thank all the following support staffs who helped before and after the procedures. Patient stayes in Room 1321. I was treated for my surgery at Apollo. I was in the hands of wonderful nurses they were Katthika, Malar, Sonia, Rita, Sarbani and Sofia - from 3rd floor. They were one of the most kindest and sweetest nurses I have ever met. Very professional and ensured I received constant support to recover quickly. Special thanks my ER team doctors Sherya and Jeffy for working efficiently to ensure they made right decision during my emergency. Thanks again for your support. I will definitely recommend the ER doctors mentioned above for anyone who comes to Apollo . Many thanks to my house keeping team Vasanthi, latha, Jothimani and Murugen- ensured my rooms were kept clean throughly at all times. They worked extremely hard to ensure I was comfortable in my room.

Frontage of hospital is pathetic. Foot pathway is encrached by cars/bikes . See photos. Aesthetic value of frontage can be enhanced by increasing the height of pedestrian pathway by 9 inches, barricated as suggested by photos taken elsewhere

Decline in Service Quality - Disappointing Recent Experiences at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai I am writing this review with mixed emotions as someone who has been a loyal and satisfied patient of Apollo Hospitals in Chennai for several years. My past experiences have always been positive, and I have praised the exceptional healthcare services provided by this institution. However, recent encounters have compelled me to express my concerns and disappointment. The room allotment service, which used to be seamless and efficient, has taken a nosedive in terms of quality. During my recent visits, I faced challenges and delays in the room allotment process, which significantly affected my overall experience. As someone who values the convenience and comfort provided by Apollo Hospitals, this decline in service has been disheartening. Another aspect that has contributed to my disappointment is the noticeable lapse in cleanliness standards. Cleanliness has always been a strong suit of Apollo Hospitals, and it has been a key factor in my decision to choose this facility for my medical needs. Unfortunately, the recent decline in cleanliness has been evident and has compromised the overall quality of my visits. I have been forced to consider alternative healthcare options due to these issues, a decision I never thought I would have to make given my previous positive experiences with Apollo Hospitals. I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the management to address these concerns promptly and maintain the high standards that have set this institution apart. While I acknowledge that challenges can arise, it is crucial to uphold the reputation that Apollo Hospitals has built over the years. I sincerely hope that my concerns are taken seriously, and the necessary steps are taken to rectify these issues. My intention is not to criticize but to highlight areas that require improvement for the benefit of both the institution and its patients.

Apollo OMR staff nurses take care of my uncle very well and House keeping, Food team and facility management service very satisfied

I booked an appointment by calling the hospital. My appointment was booked for 9.30AM. By that time the doctor was yet to reach the hospital. After coming, the doctor went for rounds. I have to wait nearly an hour, still she didn't come back and didn't even care that someone has booked an appointment.I left without consulting, as I have not been informed by the staffs too when the doctor will be available. Staffs behaviour is also worst. If you are giving an appointment, please check with the doctor before and ensure the doctor is available by that time. Patient's time is valuable too.

Excellent services provided by Mahalakshmi, Jyoti mani, Gaurav, Yashoda, sobir and these people are God's own people and services like cleaning, bathrooms etc provided in maintaining my mother's ward who joined for Knee replacement surgery is outstanding

My wife got admitted at Omr Apollo Perungudi for her first delivery under Dr Nithya Babukumar. Such awesome care poured by hospital, staffs and doctors. The hospital maintenance was world-class, and staff assistance was awesome. The hospital nurses were so dedicated, especially I wish to mention labour ward, nurses, NICU nurses and third floor nurses team. They were available on all the time and took care of mother and baby very well. Supporting staff at the hospital were so polite and helpful. Mr Moorthy from Billing team, mr Vijayakumar who helps to get the birth certificate within two days, mr Mohan from housekeeping team should be mention specially. I strongly recommend this hospital for all your needs, especially for deliveries. Mubashir
