Apni Rasoi - Restaurant in Mesra - Ranchi, India

This canteen is inside BIT campus. Though since my college days I have not been a big fan of food here but yes,its the only go to place near insti for students I am not sure but their Garlic chicken used to be next level. Best I have had ever Do not try veg roll, other dishes you may try and you will like it when you are hungry

When you're bored of Hostel food, You know you are here. Because HnC food items are costlier than Apni Rasoi ! The place could be more hygienic indeed but their Nun and Chicken items are better than hostel ones. I think Hygiene is the main issue here. Otherwise the service is real fast and food quality isn't bad.

Being the only proper restaurant/canteen within the campus, they have a monopoly. This is not ideal and does not justify the price they charge for the average food they serve. However, it is fine when you're in a pinch.

Not a clean place. Furniture is quite old and worn out. The food is not tasty. Too much oily and spicy by anyone's standards. Cost of food is high. Too much noise / bad ambience (Feels like hostel mess). Most of the menu items are not available all the time. Packaged items are sold at MRP so no problem with that. Only restaurant serving rice based main-course preparations. Worst maintained washroom and wash basin. Unhygienic. Cash only.

Price is way more than what any student could expect or for that matter any canteen inside an institute could demand. Few trademark dishes are good enough tho.

This is a good restaurant to satisfy your hunger at reasonable price during lunch and located near main institute building, Large in area and has a number of tables to seat.

It's neat and clean, food is good and the service is fast almost, but it's a bit costly in comparison to other restaurants/ dhabas nearby.

Not so good but ok to eat when we are really hungry can't say it is best cause the rates are high the is not so good and with late service it seems to get boring
