Apna Punjabi Dhaba - Pure Vegetarian Jain Food Family Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Thiruvananthapuram, Kovalam - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Though I have tried much of the items, I went for veg thali... To have a taste of everything. The taste was below normal and I didn't expected that going with the reviews it has got. Thali cost me 250, it was worth maximum 50 anywhere else... Nothing Punjabi in this, this is just a restaurant serving North Indian type food... For me it was just a waste of money.. you see the thali picture and decide..

This is a decent vegetarian restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Tried parata and chole bhature which tasted very nice and worth the money Service was quick and staff was very friendly. Try here if you have tried lot of local cuisine in Kerala which is different from regular food. Need to maintain hygiene of washroom and washbasin area.

We recently had our lunch at this place and had veg special thali The spread was good but very spicy and taste was ok but rice quality and hygiene was not that great Service was also ok

Worse restaurant, no taste, no quality. Every dish made with full oli . We are ordered panner biryani, and Zeera rice. It's taste is too worst. And maintenance very poor Staff are not caring costumer's, much better to avoid this hotel.

We stayed in kovalam beach stay and there was no vegetarian hotel there. Punjabi dhabha was a heaven for us as it is very near. We ordered dishes like rajma, bhindi, chole, chana masala, gobhi, tava roti, lassi. All was nice but bhindi was not soft. Lassi was too good. They are good in service.

I have tried in almost all the restaurant in kovalam and found only this restaurant as authentic and providing quality food with great taste with professional service

This restaurant looks like an ordinary restaurant,but it costs a bomb...this restaurant is not recommended for anyone from Kerala,but for may be vegetarian tourists from other states..we went there last week ...regular daal curry costed over 200 and was watery,roti was without salt,, 3 dosas costed 100Rs..for the ambience they provide it's day light looting...have seen some family going back after seeing menu prices..they blanked all prices ..my advice is to avoid ..they told it's due to high rents ..restaurants like Rameswaram cafe which is situated in prime land like Bengaluru Indira nagar charges less than this ..

Food was not even cooked properly and prices are too high. Even if they prepare good food in future, the prices are not reasonable. They are very high. Less chance that customers will give a repeat visit. Only customers who are tourists may visit by luck and such people have less chance of visiting again so the management won't even care to improve performance. Mainly because of pricing it's okay for them with few customers, they can make profit from it also.
