Sharing a great experience in second Covaxin dose at AHPC Duhai, Ghaziabad on 22 May, 2021 Booked it last night (on a tip off from a friend that many centres in Ghaziabad had Covaxin). 19 slots were available. Booked three slots in the 1-3 pm time slot. Took 40 minutes from Noida to the AHPC, Duhai - Google maps took us there easily via the Delhi-Meerut expressway and then the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Ample parking, clean, green environment in rural area. Spacious well ventilated hall for registration and waiting. Waited for just 5 mins (they wait for 10 patients to collect before opening the set of 10 vaccines). Professional and friendly staff, administered the jab painlessly. Government facility so no charges. That's it. We left Noida at 1 and reached back at 3pm. Great experience, clean fuss-free Government infrastructure.
I reached the center at 9 am but the vaccine reached the center at 12pm. But got vaccinated in just 15 min.
Seamless work, got vaccinated within 30 minutes , not to worry about appointment timing, as they give token there on the basis of first come first serve. And 45+ will be given priority over to 18+ group. Even if you reach there before them. And vaccine arrives at 10AM so if you go at 8-9 AM (which is too early) then don't complain about waiting there for 4 hours coz thats on you.
When I visited this place, it is clean and nice. Greenery is too good. One star deducted because medicine arrived too late, although I haven't too long but some people have waited for more than an hour. The doctor for COVID-19 vaccination is polite and gentle and explained what to do for precaution after vaccination in very good way.
It's a covaxin vaccination centre and is reachable by car. Staff is also fine. Social distancing is followed. Reach early if you want the vaccine as local people are also vaccinated (walk in) with the same stock which in turn finishes early.
This is APHC DUHAI COVAXIN 18-44 Centre. Don't get confused by Vill Post Bhikanpur. This centre at Asalat Nagar is the one which is offering COVAXIN. Staff is good, social distancing is followed. For 18-44 slot booking is mandatory while for 45+ walk in is allowed and for 2nd dose gap of 32 days is required. Vaccination process starts as soon as vaccine is received. Today the vaccine was received at 11:15 am and I got vaccinated within 7 minutes.
If you are looking for APHC Duhai vill bhikanpur on CoWin, then this is the exact place u r looking for. This vaccination centre is not in bhikanpur, it is in ASALAT NAGAR, 3km away from bhikanpur. Take help of locals to reach there. Today(24 May 2021) my wife got vaccinated by COVISHIELD 1st dose. Place is very clean and staff is very good and supporting. I had appointment for 3:00-5:00pm they told me that the vaccine stock is finished because they only received 100 doses but got booked for 200 slots. They are liars and cheaters giving vaccines in black to people without any prior booking.
