Apex Residence - Lodge in Palakkad - Palakkad, India

It's a very average property. Plus: Location - opp Palakkad town railway station. Easy access to most places in Palakkad. Public transport including Auto stand very close. Decent restaurants nearby ( I tried only the Veg) Theatre @ walking distance Spacious rooms - although looks a bit old. Clean sheets, bathroom fairly clean. Cons: No bottled water ( complimentary) for someone charging 1k + No Wi-fi Didn't have TV ( Believe all were out of order & rooms that had working TV were occupied)- I probably don't need TV that much but general requirement. mosquitoes - please come prepared ( not much - but enough to keep you awake, esp if no power ) Overall - I think they need a overhaul, just a touch.

Owners is very good behaviour and humble. But the room was full of bedbugs. I was not able to sleep whole night. That's the one drawback... otherwise very peace ful. And 300-400 rs for one night is very much affordable. Its near to railway station pllakad. If u r going for couples stay ...call the owner before book. Keep travelling happy stay

It was my second visit here in 2 years. This time, the service was worse than last time. The first half of the stay was good because the hotel manager was very kind and arranged every possible facility for us. However in the second half, the hotel staff changed due to shifts and they were horrible. Their behavior was rude. No one helped with the luggage, no one helped with getting bottle of drinking water. They did not provide new towels and soap although they charged for two days. I will recommend to stay at this hotel only when the main hotel manager is available in the shift. Otherwise , you are in for misery.

Rooms are clean. staff behaviour is good. Don't expect for channels in TV mostly channels don't work only local cable charge and malayalam channel are there that too very few. Average

It's a bit old but not very bad. But in need of some small maintenance. For eg the door is not closed unless you shut it using tower bolts. The flash door lock is faulty. You'll find both opening and closing difficult with the keys. And there's no waste bin inside the room. The room has a balcony but full of dust.

Worst experience ever. Dusty and dirty bed covers. So many bed bugs were there. No bedsheets or blankets were provided. Very rude and bad behavior from the side of hotel employees. It's not couple friendly even it is listed among couple friendly hotels. Room was not cleaned.

I had stay for more than a week and its pretty nice in budget. U wont get high class services but cleaning, tv, fan, double bed, and hot water in morning if u inform before 30min.

overall good experience..it's in the heart of the city.good staff. only thing is car parking is a bit of a problem..will have to park the car on the roadside. no security guard.
