Home like very tasty banana leaf meals. Run by a very sweet hardworking senior couple this Little cute place is serving hot simple sapad like meals. They would offer you a choice of three varieties of rice. Unpolished boiled rice, white rice of two types. One can choose any one. Chapati is extra. Reasonably priced. Cooking is done by lady herself and gentle man serves. Red chutney is to die for.

Highly recommend this place if you are driving through Karkala. Delicious meals on plantain leaf served by humble and friendly home (staff is comprised of a middle aged couple) at a very affordable price.

Lovely home food served on banana leaf with extremely healthy boiled brown rice and variety of gravy and vegetable preparation! Amazing place that is very light on the pocket yet heavy on the belly!

We were traveling out of Udupi to Bangalore on a early morning, there are very few restaurants after Udupi which serve decent breakfast. When we entered the restaurant we were a bit apprehensive, but after having the food we were pleasantly surprised. They have limited menu, but the taste was very good and price was very reasonable.

Every time when i visit karkala in the lunch time i go for this hotel. Best hotel, best food. Can get stomach full of meals which served in banana leaf. I like this hotel and staff.

A small but cleanly maintained place for some good home-cooked veg food. A plate of meals is simple and tasty. Local delicacies like neer dosa and buns are almost authentic. Idli is soft and tasty. Samosa and poori baaji are tasty. If you are looking for home made, clean, simple, and tasty food, this is the place.
