Anurag Residency - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

I would've given zero stars if I could. Had the worst experience here, booked my hotel through Agoda paid the whole amount and after arriving here they said that they don't have any reservations and I had to pay again to book new rooms. The staff called the manager and the manager started telling him not to give us rooms. I took mobile phone which had all the booking details from the reception desk and after searching for few seconds found out our booking details. The staff was on the other phone with manager but he had his call on speaker. The manager started to speak in Assamese and scolded the staff as why did he give me the phone, they didn't know that I could speak Assamese. I told them that I could speak Assamese and they were trying to scam people like me. I had everything on filmed on my phone every conversation that I had with them. They gave me the room and after spending the night there I cancelled my bookings the day after and left the hotel. This place is a big scam. I urge people donot visit here in any situation.

Booked this hotel through OYO app. Travelled all the way from airport. But the hotel receptionist asked for extra money. When I asked, they said they can't allow us at that price. It's gonna be my last to book through OYO. It happened twice and lost my money too when I was in delhi. Never pay through OYO app. First reach the hotel, then pay.

Worst experience, booked and paid in advance and went to stay after a tiresome day; only to return back to find some other hotels. They refused to provide me check in as no rooms were available. I found out that the hotel manager gives hrly check in to people locally and thus they end up not serving the advanced booking from Oyo. It caused me great difficulty and brought shame as I was bringing guests.

I booked it Air condition room and guy at reception asked for more money and after what oyo charged me and he didn't gave me Air conditioning room hence offered me non Air conditioning room with late check in . Guy at reception charged me more for late check out. I would never return to this hotel again in my life .

you booking pric online not accept that front stay manager, extra charges he asked,Staps are not good, no response, all are ediot, every room old, bhut bangla, midnight cutting the light

I have never ever visited that type of hotels in my life..if you see online picture for that hotel it is totally different with reality..very poor room smelly dirty bedsheet and bathroom condition water taps are not working . When I asked for tawal and bedsheet they ans sir sorry it's not available if it is not available then why not confirmed before booking room..they charged also against water bottle which is free for every hotels.Totally wast my money ..don't book that hotel ..it is suitable for poor couples. WORLDS NO 1 DIRTY HOTEL.. DON'T VISIT......

*Warning* This is the most horrible place i have ever seen in my life. Room was dirty ,small. Bedsheets were very unhinged.there were rat and cockroaches also. staff behaviour was very bad. Even they dint give any services for room. they were ignoring. I talked with customer care but they talking about only refund but they didn't help to transfer any other hotels . So i will suggest everyone please see the room before check-in. they had a good room but they didn't provide. and it was not very safe place for couple. i will suggest don't go there for staying. chose others hotel.

Worst one. Don't visit . It's kinda very dirty nd yak ,the bathroom. If you book the hotel online after arriving the hotel they charge more money . If you don't pay then they don't give you a room.
