Anugama Resort - Resort hotel in Port Blair, Wandoor - South Andamans, India

We had a great experience out there. The best part was the peaceful location and great supportive staffs who were there at every moment to help. Specially Tapash who helped almost in all the plan we had made while staying in the resort. Wandoor beach is very close to the resort and if you are planning for jolly buoy this will be the best resort to stay. Room was clean and vantilated . If you looking for natural beauty away from city crowds, this should be your destination.

I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay at Anugama Resort. It is far away from city's traffic and noise... a peaceful location, close to a less explored Wandoor beach. The beach is clean, offering great views. The huts in the resort are spacious and clean. Food offered was good. The people were very nice and pleasant. I met the manager, Mr Murali, who is a gentleman and we talked at length on various topics. Overall, a great stay. Would recommend this to everyone. Just be aware that this resort is away from Port Blair city, and it takes time to reach here. If you like staying close to city with all restaurants and shops nearby, this may not be the right place for you. But if you are willing to explore a peaceful and tranquil place away from the city, this is it. Wandoor beach is almost walking distance and its one of the best beaches that Port Blair has to offer. Pack your bags and go for it ..

We spent Two nights at Anugama Resort. Taking chance against other Resort in the vicinity. We found this place e adequate in basic needs and nice location. It's close to beach Wandoor Beach which Iin natural surrounding. One shiuld not expect five star facility but if you are looking for Cosby place with service having human touch this is the place. The staff is nice and looks after you. The beach is in walking distance and food is lovely at Jolly bay near Marine museum. The sunset and atmosphere at beach is breath taking. We did ATR route of rom here which was arranged by these guys. Food has to be ordered in advance they don't have big kitchen facility. But they make good local food their country chicken was one of the bestie hVe tested in last few years. Don't expect high and you will be happy. I will recommend place who like to try a bit of wild place in nature.

I would recommend this for a peaceful stay when you are not planning to see too many places as this is little far (30 km) from the main market, Abardeen Bazar. I took AC room which was good for the stay. View from the room and around is beautiful. Nice backwater area is there which turns into a lake as the day pass. Food menu does not have much variety but what they offer is 3-4 options for vegetables and breads which tastes good. I am happy with my experience.

We never wanted to stay in the middle of the city in Port Blair and Anugama Resort provided just that- away from the city. Wandoor beach was about 2 km from the resort. The walk is wonderful. If you do not wish to walk, the resort people can provide you a drop and pick up from the beach. The food would be cooked fresh that you could order. If you are an enthusiast bird watcher then this place is just the place for you to be.

I stayed here during the off-season for two nights. I would say, Anugama resort is for the people who like their space and stay away from the crowd. Very friendly staff with decent food. It is close to Wandoor beach, to which you can cycle or a small jog. This is not for those who expect to stay in the city. This resort is a good 28km distance from the airport. The connectivity is quite good with buses every 30 minutes.

you would feel in the lap of nature but remember this is about 30 km away from city ,no basic stuff available around resort but resort people can provide what ever you need,no auto ,taxi available but one can get govt/ pvt bus till 7 pm either way. so be careful and ready for this but I am assuring that one can get feeling of real nature and peace. Food is nice and value for money as compare to city hotels. resort people are very nice. they provide resort cab to beach which is about 2 km from resort. all the best and have fun

Food is very good and cooked right in front of us to suit our taste and choice. But the staff is quite lazy and you need to poke them continuously to get the things done. But overall the place wears a gloomy look and you don't feel cheerful being around there. Mahatma Gandhi marine sanctuary is at a walking distance from this place and that is the only plus point.
