Antique Mardol - Seafood restaurant in Ponda - South Goa, India

We ordered chicken manchow soup, chicken malaysian ,crispy and cheese garlic naan too. Taste could have been better and it was average. Chicken manchow soup was a bit salty, Chicken malaysian and crispy tasted and looked similar although sauces were different. Cheese garlic naan was okay. Overall ambiance and service was good. Restaurant wasn't crowded at that time so service was fast.

One should try their chiken thali you get 4(butter chiken , kadai,palak chiken,masala ) options of chiken gravy +dry items, roti , rice soul curry and your tummy gets full with it. Quality is nice and service is fast too. One should try their fish thali also. The consistency in taste is 70/30 but quality remains the same. I would recommend the place and would rate it 4.2 out of 5

Overall Good experience, have been going here since 3 years now. Their starters dish Tender Chicken is amazing. Must give it a try. Authentic Goan food, fish thali is also available. Good food, good ambiance. Nice place. Staff is also polite. Not overcrowded. Great for weekends, family dinners, date nights.

Antique Mardol ponda is one of the branches of their restaurant chain . The speciality of this place is Goan fish thali & it has a twist of its own. Served on a huge banana leaf with many dishes put together that includes King Fish rava fried fillet , rice prawns curry, clams sukha ,crab xeq xeq,etc etc . the food was very tasty . Over all it is worth the price you spend. And the ambiance is nice and cozy. If you like thali and fish don't miss this place.

If you are hungry and just want to fill your stomach then its a good Restaurant and only presentation was good food was tasteless , service staff wasn't so attentive, and fish was stale.
