And every year August month first week or second week they conduct Shri Gurunatha swami kovil festival on that festival there are large number of kuthirai - horses and large number of bulls and coats and cows and small number of camels are in assembly for sales. And also here the horses can dance for the music like drums sound. And the conduct a small place of horses races with the horse jackey and also trace with rakkala RACE.Its a small village but this festival is world wide famous you can search in Wikipedia. The famous of Gurunatha swami kovil is available here........ It's a really awesome place to family vacation time. And there the thuriis available 1) giant wheel 2) break dance 3)trains 4)boats 5)childrens park.. It's an really awesome to enjoy with our family

totally awesome.there are many activities are available in these... especially horses and bull are gud to see..the tamil and Kongu people preserve the culture from extinction... totally loved it

Came here for the 1st time Lot's and lot's of horse, cows Seeing sooo many horse after a long time is definitely treat for eyes..
