Ansu Guest House is around a 15-20 min walk to Mahabodhi Temple and offers a clean and quiet accommodation nearby the Root Institute. The host is full of energy and provides helpful info on Bodh Gaya. Nice chill out space and good WiFi connection, this is a great spot if you would like a comfortable quiet environment. It's location is also right next to a bunch of local market stools selling food and drink.

It's a quiet location on the outskirts of town, with village life all around. The owner is helpful and can arrange everything from train tickets to guide tours. He also claims to be engaged in Dhamma work and often receives vipassana meditators coming to the nearby Dhamma Bodhi centre.

Very nice place! Great area to hang out downstairs, and the rooms are clean and very nice! Great location, not a far walk from the center/ all the attractions. The host is kind and helpful and the rest of the family are very nice too!

Some years ago I stayed here for ten days. The value for money was unbeatable. The place has a tranquil vibe, yet is not too far from the center of Bodhgaya. The owner is a hard working young guy who looks after his guests well. He is also a pretty good guide to any of the local attractions. If he encourages donations as some reviewers mention, these are often directly to some very deserving places he includes on his tours, with no personal benefit.

Anshu a ete arrangeant durant cette periode de basse saison et m'a propose une chambre double avec salle-de-bain privative, eau chaude et wifi pour un tres bon prix. Sa guest house contient une petite cour couverte et une petite cuisine avec de l'eau potable. Un peu loin du centre, celle-ci se situe toutefois juste en face d'une institue de meditation et non loin d'un marche. Anshu offre regulierement a manger aux gens pauvres du coin.

Lovely guesthouse in a quiet area of Bodh gaya. The owner is a charming guy and offers many services such as trips around Bodh gaya and travel arrangements. I had a pleasant stay hear and would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone!

Rooms were nice. Only ceiling fan, no AC. but that means it's really cheap, can't beat the price. It's got a kitchen for your use, and R.O. purified water. Location is a bit far from the center, but it's quiet and peaceful. Owner is a nice, helpful guy, always looking to improve his guest house.

Nice and clean guest house running by lovely and helpful family. Location is very shanti, great for meditation and chill, also not far from town centre.. Owner is man with big heart and having all the knowledge about Bodh Gaya history, he can also guide you around. Highly recommending
