I heard highly about the place. And being a fan south Indian food i was little disappointed by the food and taste. Sambar was slight tangy like it was not fresh or something. In short it was below the mark. Dosa was too tangy ( slight khattash) in taste. May be battter was old. Masala was also okayish. Over all was not satisfied with the taste. Ambience and atmosphere was good.

One of the finest South Indian dining in guwahati. The interior of the place was quite cozy .loved it. Loved the food too. We have tried filter coffee, chai , uttapam, dahi vada and kesari halwa. You should visit this place once if you are fond of South Indian cuisine. The staffs of this place are very friendly.

I am quite happily surprised and bowled over by the ambience and authentic South Indian food of the restaurant. The restaurant is very uniquely designed and has amazing decor which pulls you back to your South Indian roots. The tables and chairs are at par with high end fine dining restaurants and the service staff is very polite and fast. I was quite impressed by the speed of the service. Now comes the food. The food was very much to my liking and the mixed Uttapam was very tasty; crispy and fluffy at the same time. The Rawa masala dosa was quite up there with its crisp and light palate. The chutneys were equally delicious and the topper was the Sambhar; it was very balanced; adequately thick, with all good South Indian flavours coming together for a fine show. USP I think would however be the pricing. The pricing was at par with any mid sized local restaurant. I really thought that with the quality of food served and the ambience, it was really a steal for me. I just paid Rs 380 for a hearty meal ( inclusive of 2 water bottles and 1 plate Pushka) .... All in all, a great outing. Will surely visit again.

The resturant is located on the main road. The atmosphere is very good and the food served is really nice. Specially the south indian dishes are must try things. Apart from south indian dishes the restaurant also serves north Indian and Chinese dishes which may be tried.

It's a great place to have a South Indian meal. The ambiance is striking and the interior has beautiful wall art of Kathakali and Mohiniattam dancers. The quality of the food is good. I tried their plain idli and set dosa. One can find many varieties of South Indian along with some North Indian and street food in their menu. Though, the items are overpriced as compared to other South Indian restaurants in the city, one can still enjoy a great meal with their family and friends.

Service was slow, food was ok, quantity of the dishes were good for the price. Washroom was clean. Would recommend bise bele Bhat, set dosa Mysore masala dosa, lemon rice, place is a bit congested. Curd rice wasn't good, though it was garnished well, no parking available. Some dishes were up to the mark and some weren't.

The food is the best for the north eastern and specially east India palate. The cook presents South Indian flavours in a much soothing and comforting way without harsh spices and sourness used in South India without altering the authenticity of the dishes. The ambience of the place could have been better. Although they have tried to give the ambience a malayali cultural touch, the aesthetics of the place should be enhanced with it. The lighting in the interior is good but it doesn't go with the walls, thus creating a dull vibe. My suggestion would be to find a table near the lights upstairs to enjoy your food. The staff are good, cooperative, well- behaved.
