Reasonably good vegetarian restaurant near to auto stand, Laxman jhula. Popular among travellers. Serves both South Indian and North Indian dishes. Inside ambience is good. But, outside a lot of vehicles. Service was very good and cordial.
nice place. I came at 3pm. I was alone. I ordered Thali and got it in 3 minutes. I liked it. Dhal(lentils) and alu(potato) sauce was nice. There was 3rd sauce which was too spicy for me but I ate it... Ther was also curd(yogurt) that helped after eating spicy sauce :). It was for a good price - thali was for rs 100. And waiter ask if I want more sauce so I got another dhal for free. Portion was big enough. There is free water with food.
Food and price wise it is an average restaurant (simple menu) and is located right next to the Govt taxi stand in Tapovan, Laxman Jhula Market area. Service is prompt enough, prices on a medium level as well as average food quality. During my visit to the area, tried Plain Dosa and Aloo Paratha here and both tasted good.
Food was not that good. We had to send something back because there was a bug in it. The eggs were really undercooked. Would not recommend this place.. Other than having a Chai tea and enjoying the views.

We were skeptical before entering the restaurant as it's not the prettiest on the outside. But the food, service and the overall experience was AMAZING! Highly recommend if you are looking for some Soulful food and a quiet peaceful space.
