Annapurna Restaurant - Goan restaurant in Mapusa - North Goa, India

Located in a small corner of Mapusa it's one of the best thalis I've tasted. The fish was big and flavourful, the curry unique. The price however is a bit much. The restaurant is a bit unclean and plates didn't feel the nicest. You go there for the fish and curry.

If you're in Mapusa, you can always try this place out. Reminds you of food from Anand Restaurant. The whole Restraunt is backed by dedicated staff and management. A proper washroom would have added a 5 start. Over all best goan culture experience. Keep it up.

Excellent Goan food here. The fried fish is amazing and mouth watering. I had a wonderful lunch here. Chonnak thali I ordered, which is amazingly cooked. Worth a visit and try for lunch. From outside the hotel looks old and street is upside down. But inside it is served hot and good. 20 peoples can eat at a time. Worth a visit.

Annapurna is a tiny hole-in-the-wall joint in one of Mapusa's many by-lanes. Serving nothing but thalis during lunch time, their food is hot, fresh and super tasty! The restaurant can seat around 20 people and you would probably need to share your table. The prices are a tad costlier than others in the same category, and the hygiene is not the best. Ordered a Kingfish Thali, and I was super impressed with the taste. However, I do feel that this venue is a little pricey since the fish thali and a basic fresh lime soda cost me INR 430/-

A must place for all fish lover and if in Mapusa Goa, the food here is very authentic and will surely give your tummy a homely feeling, everything is very fresh here and will for sure not put a hole in your pocket. A budget meal for all with no compromise on taste. Also this is a typical thali restaurant, so do not expect luxury and you will have to share your table but in no way you will regrate once you visit here.

The food was good, orderd the King fish thali and prawns thali.. little did we know that this place charges a bomb for this! The kingfish thali was for 300/- and the prawns was 250/-.. the above rates does not do justice to the location and ambiance of the place... It's too costly and very expensive for such a place. I guess this would be the only time I visit this place.

Superb goan hindu food. Thali only. Must visit place.Their simple 'human bhaat' is just out of this world..with combination of crispy fish fry. Serves food only for lunch and closed on Sunday. Be ready to line up if you reach post 1.30pm.Their A/C restaurant is shut and this is the only place near Swiss Chapel.
