A well maintained, big Temple pond next to the temple. It is the second largest pond after Chirakkal, in Kannur district. One portion nearest to the temple is restricted only for the priests and use of temple. All other sides are open to general public

The idol is with a ladle in one hand. Annapurna is the goddess with a golden ladle. Annapoorneshwary temple is situated 3-4. From National Highway near Kannur, Kerala. It is clean well maintained temple. The staff are courtaceous nice. The pooja's done very systematic way. The Paintings of Vishnu and others are really good, but not properly maintained. The ' Prasadam ' served for hundreds of people in the temple is hygienic and tasty.
