I visited several temples in and around Kumbakonam in the month of July'14. When I was planning for the trip, I googled for hotels and taxi and Annamalai Travels attracted my attention. Of all the offerings out there, I somehow felt that the service levels of Annamalai would be good and I went ahead with them. I must say that they lived up to my expectations in terms of service. I had a list of several temples to visit and Mr. Annamalai was very patient and changed my itinerary a couple of times based on my request for visiting other temples. I had booked an Indica, the car was clean, in good condition and the driver was very cooperative. He knew the temple timings very well and coordinated my trip so nicely that I did not miss visiting any temple but rather visited a couple of more temples that were not in my original plan. It would have been of much help if the driver could speak English. Food at Venkataramana was really good...

We really enjoyed our temple visit with Annamalai travels. It was really a perfect trip which covered all the temples in and around Kumbakonam. The vehicle was very comfortable & we were dropped near the entrances of each temple which helped us in avoiding the long distance walking. Mr. Hariharan was very helpful in taking us to temples at the right time & explaining the importance of them. I really thank Annamalai travels for making this a memorable trip.

Saw the good reviews of Annamalai travels through google and arranged a 3 day trip for my parents at Kumbakonam. The reviews are absolutely correct , the travels have been extremely good. The driver Mr Balakrishnan was very prompt and punctual and had a very good knowledge of the temples. He covered more than 27 temples in the 3 day trip that too at a leisurely pace. We went for a toyota Etios and the vehicle was also in a very good condition. Overall a very good experience and a great temple tour was made possible only because of Annamalai. Keep in up!!!! Would definitely recommend!!

It was a very nice service provided by Annamalai Travels. We hired a cab for two days and visited temples in Kumbakonam. The owner personally made sure that the taxi service as requested was on time each day. We had booked an Indica, the car was clean, was in good condition and the driver was very cooperative. He knew about the temple routes and timings very well. He managed the trip nicely that we did not miss visiting any temple in our tour.

I have just returned on 23rd March, 2014 from a tour of Kumbakonam and Guruvayur. I had visited the Navagrapha Temples in and around Kumbakonam from 16th March till 18th March and left for Guruvayur by car from Kumbakonam on 19th March to Guruvayur and was dropped at Tiruchirapalli on 20th on return instead of Kumbakonam as I had to board the train from Tiruchi to Howrah on 21st. Through web, I had found out Annamalai Travels and had advised them to make all the arrangements including the hotel booking. Right from landing at Kumbakonam station on 16th March around 2.30 p.m. till I got dropped at Tiruchirapalli on 20th March around 9.00 p.m., the journey was very pleasant and smooth, thanks to all the arrangements made by Annamalai Travels. I was booked in a good hotel Sitthi Residency and was provided with a good car. I was given a much bigger car for the trip to Guruvayur from Kumbakonam. The owner of the Annamalai Travels is extremely polite, the cars were placed at our disposal on time, the drivers were good, the rates were reasonable and in summary the trip was really enjoyable, thanks to Annamalai Travels. The money paid to them was in accordance with the terms agreed and in fact, really reasonable. They were very co-operative and understanding. We had only 2.5 days to visit all the temples in Kumbakonam/Thanjavur/Madura. We came across Annamalai travels on the web and really thank our stars. Mr Annamalai (the owner) was simply superb. His service was excellent, provided reasonable rates, was punctual (Including waking us up to ensure we got off the train in Kumbakonam at 4am), proactive in his follow-up and did his best to make sure we got the most out of the time we had. He first picked us up from the train station at 4 AM, arranged for a decent guest house and planned a great itinerary to see all the good temples near Kumbakonam and Thanjavur. Our original plan was to leave for Madurai the next day, but we had mentioned in the passing that we would like to see Rameshwaram if possible. Mr.Annamalai surprised us by coming with a plan to drive to Rameshwaram the same evening after we were done with Kumbakonam. We initially were apprehensive since it would be a lot of driving. But it turned out great in the end as we enjoyed Rameshwaram. He took care of the hotel booking and found us a guest house right near the temple all on the fly. After some sight seeing in Rameshwaram, we drove to Madurai and saw the Meenakshi temple. We drove nearly 700 KM over the period had a memorable trip to Tamilnadu and are very thankful we found Annamalai travels. The only complaint was that the driver spoke very little English/Hindi but though he knew the Kumbakonam area very well, he had to ask his way around in Rameshwaram and Madurai. That said, Mr. Annamalai was available on his mobile the whole time and was ready to compensate as needed by translating and guiding the driver as required.

We opted for Annamalai Travels for temple tour in Kumbakonam (Navagraha temple) on 8th june. It was a very good experience Mr. Annamalai handled our tour perfectly. Right from the time of enquiry He was prompt in his communication. It was really very nice experience with Annamalai Travels. Cab was neat and was on time, room they provided was also neat. The rates were nominal with in budget. Overall the best travel experience.

We had a good experience with Annamalai Travels on our trip to Kumbakonam for 3 days from 18.7.2015 to 20.7.2015. They have arranged for good accommodation and provided us a Tavera for 3 days. The rates were nominal and their hospitality & service was very good.
