Nice Place. Neat, clean and well Maintained place. Anna memorial, locally known as Anna Samadhi, is a memorial structure built on the Marina beach in Chennai, India. It was built in memory of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C. N. Annadurai (1967-69), who was cremated here in 1969.
There are now four memorials, which are marked for four elected former CMs.It would take half a day to go round them a maybe picnic spots for the people who come from far and near.A visit to this place may be something to talk about when they return to their family. They can take photos and the police are not objecting.The place can accommodate any no of people.
This place is very spacious and it gives you a good glimpse of one of the most glorious and talented leaders of Tamilnadu, but it's highly crowded on weekends, better to visit here on weekdays, probably before 5PM!
