Went to Anna Bhavan for breakfast and tried their Appam and Poori masala. The food was good and ok. Service was slow and average. Came to know from their staff that they have sadya during lunch time and do not have regular thali meals.

My recent dining experience at Anna Bhavan, located at Ayurvedha College Junction, was average overall. I decided to try their masala dosa, and while it was decent, it didn't particularly stand out. The dosa had an okay texture, but the flavors were not as robust as I had hoped. The filling lacked the desired depth of spices, making it a bit underwhelming. The curries served alongside the dosa were satisfactory, but nothing exceptional. They provided some variety, but I found them to be lacking in distinct flavors. While they complemented the dosa adequately, they didn't leave a lasting impression. The ambiance at Anna Bhavan was good. The seating arrangements were comfortable enough. The service was decent, although it took a bit longer than expected to receive our orders. On the positive side, I appreciated the cleanliness of the wash area and washroom. In terms of accessibility, the restaurant was easily reachable, but the fact that they only offer street parking was a minor inconvenience. In conclusion, Anna Bhavan provided an average dining experience. While the masala dosa and curries were decent, they didn't excel in terms of flavor. The ambiance was average, the service could have been more efficient, and the parking situation was a drawback. If you're in the area and looking for a quick and simple meal, Anna Bhavan could be an option, but it may not leave a lasting impression compared to other dining choices available.

I had ordered a lemon rice parcel from here. The waiting time was little too much. But when I opened the parcel to my surprise it was not lemon rice but some kind of rice with some veggies and its in yellow colour. Also they keptno pickle pieces but smeared some pickle chaar in it. Overall not happy with the quality of food.

Good restaurant with a handful of vegetarian dishes. Quality of food is okay but prices of some dishes are high. Washroom is well maintained.

Great restaurant next to NH. The service is really good. Parking available. We had ordered plain paper dosa, sambhar Vada accompanied with tea. Paper dosa had good color outside and was crispy, sambhar vada was under seasoned and low on spice... Overall good food quality...

We ordered ghee Dosa and we waited atleast 10 mins.. until he clean the table we seated on a table which is unclean later, one person came and cleaned table.We ordered ghee Dosa, they brought after 12 minutes and I didn't asked wada but he given vada also, sambar is not tasty but dosa is good and chutney is nice. I ordered cold coffee also it's better.... overall nice servicing but time consuming.....Not a breakfast but like a snack...... Brunch...

A typical south Indian restaurant. Fast service and taste is good. Hygeine is well maintained.

Just an over hyped crowded restaurant. Don't know what's so great about it other than the location which might be the reason why it's crowded. Now to people telling that it's an old restaurant serving tasty food for all, old or new, when the food comes into our plate and also because it's not something free as we are paying from our own pockets, the food should be good. Over hype and expectations usually ruin the taste. We had Chole Battura(chole tasted bitter and the battura was more like a pappadam), Puri set(Thin Puri which has a taste rancid reused oil), Masala Dosa. Somehow we wanted to get out. It is a restaurant my father used to like and now the quality is coming down and Quality of the food matters more than quantity of people it serves.
