Even though it is a very small one, it is good experience to visit this small fort by the sea. The well manicured lawn and very neatly maintained structure and premises are appreciable. The walk along the wall of the fort with the view to the sea is nice. Also you can cross the road and climb up the light house and the view from above is breathtaking. Sea on one side and backwaters on the other side.

The actual remains from the past, nothing much to see. Just a one time visit . Well maintained. Free road side parking Free entry. May you have a good time relaxing in the evenings, Moderately crowded. Easily accessible from the road.

The fort is quite small. The limited attractions and the lack of maintenance was evident. It doesn't look like a must place to visit or spend time. There are not many things to explore or see in the fort. As it's very close to the see, there you can enjoy some breeze and maybe you can go there and spend some time in the evening if the fort is not crowded.

Nice fort built by the East India company for their spice trade. Name of the place means five coconut trees. Fort has a viewpoint to the sea front from top and the tunnel has been permanently closed. Toilets are clean and the personal at the Fort explain the history of the Fort. Artefacts of the Fort are shifted to Thrissur museum. It has cemetery of the British general and his wife. One of the first places in Kerala to revolt against the British.

I liked this place to some extent only.. .. But I noticed many ppl got disappointed... Well... It was a very small fort and not everyone's cup of tea. but not very breath taking views and all.. just some walls.. thats it... If u like history you can associate things.. otherwise you will not like this Even the toilet was not functioning.. if u r on the way and see this fort u can just get down and visit..
