Anjenaya Statue, Ezhimala - Tourist attraction in Payyanur, Ramanthali - Kannur, India

The statue at Anjaneya para is one of the tallest Hanuman statue in South India. This place is on a hill that makes the views even better. Its a one time visit especially in the evening. Good location. The roads are a bit bumpy. Not much amenities just an Ice cream Shop. Nothing along the road. Good view of the surroundings .

Situated high in the Ezhimal hills in Top road, Anjaneya statue is the tallest Hanuman statue in South India with a height of 41 ft. The place is sponsored by Surya trust and is open on all days. Keep your footwears outside as it is a place of worship as well. There is a parking nearby the statue with parking time till 7 pm. Ideal time of visit is during morning or evening hours as noon time is extremely hot.

One of the tallest Anjaneya statue. Built in concrete on a high hill. Private property. We can also get a grand view of beach which is a bit away. Parking available for about 20 cars. Usually not crowded. Need to drive uphill with a couple of U curves.

This is a 41 feet long hanuman statue and one of the tourist attraction in payyannur. This is near to the INA Ezhimala. Advisable to go in the morning as you will experience a very good sunrise.

The time we visited the view was not great. May be in the late afternoon or early evening it can be better. You can see both backwaters and sea beach from top. Ideally they should make a watch tower for clearer view. If you want to get a great view of the sea from an elevated land, Bekal fort is a better place.

The statue is located at Anjaneya Giri, Ezhimala. Now the main attraction of Ezhimala Hill Station is the tallest Hanuman Statue. It's considered as the tallest statue of Lord Hanuman in Kerala having a height of 41 feet. The statue is about 286 meters above sea level. The statue is 3 Km away from Kakkanpar Village and 10 km from Payyanur Town in Kannur.

Given it four stars , as it is a place where you can sit peacefully, there is no one to disturb you. No flashy things around, simple , clean, small place. On the way you can stop on road side to have a top view of backwaters.

Biggest statue of Lord Hanuman. One can worship the lord from here. The view point over the back side of the place is a superb one. One can even enjoy sunset from here..
