A wonderful small Hotel run by Mr. Mani and his wife, it is a typical ole fashioned hotel, which we use to see in movies, Good homely food served with lots of love, his speciality is fish fry, must try this place, this restaurant is 18years old, i have been a regular customer every month. It is neat and clean, you can see the kitchen is clean and the food is fresh, only breakfast and lunch is served here.

While driving to Wayanad, we couldn't find a big restaurant and ended up having lunch here. For ambience there's nothing to mention because there's tables placed by the wall and the place can seat around 10 ppl however, the meals was home made and felt so good having along with the dal gravy and fish fry. Definitely worth trying. Restroom was somewhat clean which is located outside.

Classic kerala hotel for people coming from bangalore

Food is nearly ok. But far better from many posh hotels in Wayanad. A travellers choice. Mostly truck drivers and domestic travellers looking for local food eat from here. Surviving just on the base of local food concept. Pricing may be bit high comparing to value they provide. Roadside parking is available. If you are looking for local food, you can have a try.

It was my second visit on the way from Bangalore to Kerala. I had fish curry and frys with poratta, dosa . Fish was very good and fresh and it was very cheap.I am sure to go back when ever I drive alone this way. This is a small mess/tea shop setup so not recommended for get together s..i think they don't have toilet facility. Those who love authentic north Kerala village fish preparations can try this place
