The stay was fine. The caretaker was very helpful as he was managing all the management systems in the hotel and we are free to going anywhere as there was no restriction for the timing. They do not have a restaurant as they serve homemade food cooked by the staff. location was superb.
I loved this place. It was very neat and clean. A family runs this place. The guest house owner family is very helpful and supportive. There's a cafe too on the rooftop of this property. If you are searching for some place to stay to explore Varanasi, I strongly recommend you this place.
I stayed here for a week while traveling around India. Don't expect anywhere to be comfortable in Varanasi. Still, this guest house was quite rough. The blanket smelled strongly of urine (luckily I brought my own sleeping bag) and the bathroom was in bad shape. The rooftop cafe is pretty neat, you can go there even if you're not staying at the guest house. I paid 500 rupees a day to stay here, though I'm sure the price isn't fixed. They do not have their own wifi. They just give you the wifi password from their neighbors down the street, and since the walls are concrete, you will almost never be able to load anything. So be sure to do all your trip planning and booking before you go, or find a wifi cafe nearby. The owner's son runs the place. He is shy and nice. However, don't be fooled by all the other people who say they are in the family too - they're not. They hang around the building trying to trick you into buying bogus services, drugs, and tours. I wish the owner wouldn't let them inside the building but they're buzzing around in there all day every day looking for foreigners to exploit. It's near Assi Ghat which is the real draw to this place. I think you can find better places nearby, but if you do decide to stay here just be sure to bring your own padlock and bedding.
Fabulous place to stay and have fun in Varanasi. At the roof top one can spend the evening with different dishes, drinks, music and etc... It's 5 minutes away from Assi Ghat.. it's the better choice for exploring Varanasi ghats from one end to other by walking or by boating.... And of course superb service..
This place was so much fun! The people running the place are very welcoming and friendly, and will help you with anything you need! the rooms are what you expect for the price, hot bucket and simple sheets on the bed. The family's kids are awesome, and you can enjoy a session of kite cutting from the roof top.

The room is perfect for small budget. The guesthouse is located near Assi Ghat and is simple, quiet and clean. The wifi works very well. The family is very nice and they warmly welcomed us!
