Very old temple and maintained by ASI

Very calm place

Architecture of the temple is very good. Good place to relax and spend the weekend.

This temple is one of its kind, i think in south india, this temple relates to around 11 to 13th century and it depicts the kind of knowledge the people had on sex in those days. The sculptures are out of words(Excellentho).

Nice. This is not a temple, but a monument.

It's good place

Ballegavi or Balligamve is situated 12 miles N.E. of Shikaripur in SHIMOGGA Dt.,KARNATAKA. It was built in the 12 cent.,A.D. This temple is known for its EROTIC SCULPTURE around the walls.It is also called as KHAJURAHO Of Karnataka.(for verification see my photos of this temple) not only this the artistic excellence of UNKNOWN SCULPTOR can be seen on tho GANAS on the pillars .The Lord BHAIRAVA is a very good example.We should see the jewels with skeletons carefully The next one is the perforated window are really MASTERPIECES of CHALUKYAN ART.
