Ancient Shri Lakshmi Varadha Yoga Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Devasthana - Hindu temple in Shanthigrama - Hassan, India

We visited an ancient temple in Shantigrama, near the Bengaluru-Hassan highway, and were impressed by its great architecture. The temple is maintained by the government and is located in a beautiful area. Convenient parking is available. However, there is room for improvement in the temple's housekeeping maintenance, as we noticed many cockroaches inside the premises.

One of the ancient and traditional temple situated in shantigrama near Hassan. Its known to be very powerful, wishes fulfilled. All types of poojas are done here. If you want any specific Pooja to be done you have to check with the priest in advance due to covid protocols.

Bhoganarsimha temple is beautifully preserved ancient Hoysala era temple, nearly over 800 year old. Main deity of the temple is Lord Vishnu in Narsimha Avatara. The Hoysala period temple is located in Shantigrama village, about 15 kms from Hassan. The temple, like all Hoysala temples, has beautiful carvings on the external walls. Temple Prakara has a compact dining/ Prasada area. A very serene and peaceful place to go for darshan of the Lord. The Priest is helpful, knowledgeable, and very informative. Best part is, huge area for parking of vehicles on the road.

Well maintained Hindu temple in shantigrama, temple is located near the big lake .it's devotional place ,and inside is more spacious for sitting .

Very exciting place for devotees, Tuesday and Friday is the best to visit.
