Beautiful Hoysala architecture. This is actually the first ever known temple built by the Hoysalas. You don't have to worry about the crowd as it is a lesser known temple. There will hardly be any people. But highly recommended to visit. Can plan to visit here if you're visiting Belur.

Just amazing. The scenic drive and the final destination are worth it. Ancient architecture in all its splendour. A heritage wonder showcasing Hoysala architecture. Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Goddess Lakshmi all in one place. Worth the time spent.

Beautiful temple built in 1113 AD by a merchant named Rahuth and his wife Sahana Devi during the reign of King Vishnuvardhana. Looks very similar to other Hoysala temples and on a smaller scale. The best thing is it's not polluted by the tourists and is maintained in pristine condition by the locals. Another noteworthy thing is the whole village surrounding it has well-maintained cleanliness. If you visit this place please make sure to preserve the sanctity and the cleanliness. It is located on Hassan to Belur road, very little parking available so avoid going there on busy holiday time.

Beautiful Lakshmi temple of Hoysala Dynasty . This temple has brother sister concept of Indian society. Goddess Lakshmi is in the front of Shiva lingam & God Vishnu is in front of Goddess Amba(Parvati) brother-sister in front of each other. In the center of all four of them there is a Mandapa.

One of the best place to visit in Hassan. The temple needs renovation. On weekdays the tourists are less. Visit on Friday before 10 AM for the pooja. The archaka and tourist guides are very friendly and helpful. Indian temples to be protected at any cost!

This is said to be the 1st Hoysala temple, the place is very unique with 4 main gods in the temple (kali, shiva, lakshmi & veerabadhra). Must vist place. The place is less crowded as its not know to many travellers
