Most historic temple, told to have been built by the pandavas during their exile. Feel blessed to offer prayers to Lord Shiva in this temple. Also has 5 water streams flowing with pure drinking water from ages.
Nice place. It's an ancient temple where the water mystically comes from the sculpture hole.. nice place to visit
People do the holy bath at this temple. The water coming from under the temple is pure and fresh water.
Located at Sankaram village near Anakapalle, this site consists of ruins of old rock-cut caves on two hillocks based on Buddhism. The site is dated between 4th-9th century A.D. The place has got numerous monolithic rocks, stupas, chaityas and monasteries. It is considered as one of the most remarkable Buddhist establishments in Andhra Pradesh. Cons of the place are poor maintenance, lack of local guide to enlighten visitors about the rich culture of the site and pathetic state of the road leading to the site. Overall verdict- definitely recommended.
