This place is extreme bliss...there is no specific road to reach this place. Once you reach near the dam, you can find the way through the bush. Not advised to go with family as the place is always surrounded by people drinking. It's a must watch when you are in suryanalli. Shoes recommended.
Anayirangal Dam is an absolute gem! The view here is nothing short of spectacular,it's nature at its very best. Fishing at the dam was an awesome experience, and the people we met were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Five stars without a doubt -this place is a true paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Mesmerizing views, beautiful windy roads, landscape, mist and more. This place is not crowded as compared to the other spots near Munnar. One can spend about 2 hours enjoying nature.
The wait for a speed boat could be high. Pedal boats and Kayaks are available quickly
Time 10 am to 5 pm
Closed from 1 to 2 pm for lunch
Super location, if you are luck u can see elephants
Beautiful reservoir. It has plenty of water activities like kayaking , speed boat etc at nominal price. There is a washroom too. A cafeteria with basic food and tea available. Also this place is famous for elephants crossing the reservoir so always be attentive. The kayaking is beautiful here. Its peaceful and you can enjoy a good one hour kayak for 200 rupees.
A nice and calm place with less crowd for enjoying boating.
It was closed as there was no boating. But the place is extremely beautiful and peaceful. Watch out for elephants as you could see a few poops here and there. We went via chinnakanal which is not the actual way to reach there. We visit another side of the dam which was so lonely and peaceful.
Really a nice place to visit,.The travelling through the hills of tea estates are really exciting.Wild animals are also seen rarely. It is the best place to admire the beauty of the nature. The speed boat riding is just fantastic.
Need to pay entrance fee before entering. Another place for boating and recreation activities for families. Good pay ans use washrooms available. Scenery around the dam is very good and not to be missed. Tends to get crowded during holidays and weekends.
Stunning waterfalls on the way to Munnar. Very beautiful. A treat to welcome you to Munnar. The flow of water is amazing. Waterfall on one side and breath taking views of the tea estates and valley on the other. A must stop location before entering M

Awesome rooms with balcony n heavy ambiance with a well mannered restaurant, it's having a little drive from munnar Town but still it was really worth. Especially their service and hospitality was really wonderful.
