Entrance to Cochin museum and temple. Close by is synagogue and jew town. Once a beaming trade centre now a tourist attraction.

One of the Sight Seeing Place in Kochi. Anavathil, the word itself mean "Elephant Gate" which reminds of the Era of the Cochin Rajavamsham. It's the gateway to Dutch Palace.

I love this place..very peaceful and happy atmosphere... lot of things to do.. you will need a day to finish the local sight seeing and do try the local food..

It is a small junction at palace road. But it is known landmark of historical importance.

Simple. Homely but narrow road. Better take a bike or bicycle as cars are difficult to fit when theres oncoming traffic.

It's a fortgate which is big enough for an elephant to pass through.
