This is located just beside riverbank of Ganga.Such a peaceful and pleasant place.. That breeze from river will just make you sit in the garden hours long.. This is a branch of Anandamayi ashram of Haridwar (Kankhal).The area is huge and located just beside Ganga.Inside the area they have main prayer room,Natmancha,Annapurna room,Doctor's chamber, building for guests,Jopgriho,a beautiful garden,pond, stable etc.. Main mandir remains open from 8a.m.-12 p.m and again from 4p.m - 8p.m. Bhog prasad is served here from 1 p.m..You have toh collect the coupon for bhog before 12 o'clock from the cash counter.The cash counter opens at 9 a.m.Coupon price-100.System is very good... Bhog should be taken sitting on the ground..For senior citizens there are table- chair,so don't worry.. Bhog menu is - Pulao,rice,dal,fry, 2 types of sabji,dhoka,chatni,payash,sweets. After taking bhog you can rest on Natmanch and wait for mandir to open on 4 p.m or can sit on the garden and enjoy the beauty of Ganga..The garden is absolutely beautiful.. Route direction - If you are coming by bus the bus stoppage is Agarpara Tetultala.From Tetultala more you can catch a auto or toto and ask driver to drop you at Anandamayi ashram..Very simple route. Visit ashram and feel mentally refreshed.

Holy Hindu worship & meditation place at the bank of Holy river Bhagirathi, In the main temple Maa is with all Gods & Goddesses. A separate is for Maa also. Ashram also have well maintained Goshala. There is a big list of Puja Arati & other holy rituals & activities. Big arrangement done by Ashram on all Hindu Festivals and special days. Ashram provide facilities to celebrate personal birthday, anniversary and other activities. Ashram have guest house having well maintained rooms available for devotees and also for general public with some terms and conditions. All campus is full of greenary, neat & clean peaceful atmosphere

Ananda Ashram is a holy place for the devotees of Anandamayee Maa. This ashram is located at Agarpara, West Bengal, India and very near to Kolkata. It is located on the western bank of the river Ganges/Hooghly river with vast land. The ashram started functioning since 1958. There is a beautiful temple with idols of Anandamayee Maa Anandamayee and other idols of Maa Kali. Regular prayers and arati are carried out both morning and evening. Different Hindu festivals are organised at this ashram. The main ashram is at Agarpara with several branches in India , different ciuntries of the world and Bangladesh. There is an arrangement for accommodation of guests in both AC & non AC rooms. But minimum facilities are not available. Rooms and wash rooms and basins are not cleaned properly. Administration authorities are reluctant in this matter. Bhoga are available on payments.
