One of the best south Indian restaurants for a meal. They serve the meals on a banana leaf and the portions are generous/unlimited. Been eating here since I was a small kid and visited this place recently to relive some fond good memories. Chennai's pride and a blast from the past.
Good veg restaurant. We ordered, idly, masala dosa, onion dosa, pongal and lime juice. All tasted authentic. Onion chutney was nice spicy. Served with coconut chutney and sambar. They serve fresh juice, sometimes pre prepared.
Recently visited Anandham Restaurant in Hotel Moris quite a few times for breakfast. Typical South Indian breakfast menu and it tastes good. Service is also quite good. Appam and Sambal, kozhukattai, ragi puttu with kadala curry stands out in my opinion.
This restaurant is inside hotel Maris, therefore it's not visible at the entrance. I didn't find any signage either. Experience: Good food and good presentation, the place was clean and they serve on banana leaf which is something I was looking for.
Facility is very good. Spacious, clean and well maintained. We, a dozen of us, went for breakfast. There were limited options available. Just a few items. But whatever was served tasted good. Their chutney and sambar was very tasty. Service was good. Best part is the ample car parking.

All time favorite restaurant. Good south Indian food. I prefer tiffin. Lunch may not impress south Indians. Timing they are closing by 9.30 pm I believe. Masada dosa missing in recommended dishes.
I was pleased with the side dish that came with the tomato rice. However, the flavour is not particularly pleasant, but it is not unpleasant. Their customer service, on the other hand, is something I dislike. Perhaps I was the one who saw their ugly face. However, everyone should be treated equally at all times. The actual problem was... After finishing my lunch, I waited ten minutes. The bill was not presented by the waiter. I had an important meeting to attend. So I went up to him and asked for the bill. That waiter was furious with me and spoke to me in a local language before handing me my bill. Another waiter was likewise misbehaving. We don't want to be respected, but we also don't want to be treated badly. ---(UPDATE)--- after many months I revisited and had a good experience. Updating my review from 1 to 4 STARS.
