For an Amrita student at Amritapuri, this is the place where you go for tea and snacks, simply because the mess closes too early and the food there cannot hold an inch of the food provided here. It's a small space, so rush hours are a head ache, but then you just suck it up and stand somewhere, having your fill. Never have I come out from there disappointed, except when the food gets over too fast. They even provide boiled eggs plus options of boost or normal milk. Seriously, the college should sponsor these guys and make them our official tea stall or something .

Handful of memories associated with this shop ...... It was a perfect place to hangout, back then while at amrita. The lime tea and jumbo were daily sources of refreshment after tiring lectures. Won't ever forget the man behind the shop, Shyju chettan.
