I've been eating in this place since I was a child. Nevertheless the ambiance and the taste of the food hasn't changed ever since.

It's very regular place for students and office goers at the time of lunch and in a reasonable price they provide plenty good meals and it's nearer to the sealdah station, Bongobashi College and also from Bohubazaar or Bowbazaar. The laccha parantha is mostly famous dish here pricing currently 20/-( India Rupees). Please go over there at least for once. The nasty thing may feel by some people is the fish markets nearby....but it's really a good place inside a gully.

Located inside a narrow lane of Bowbazar, though this place is Cramped, It is One of the best place to have Lunch or tiffin in the area. The food is cooked hygienically and is moderately priced. Most college goers go there especially for one special kind of paratha which they serve at just rs.20. Apart from the paratha they also serve indian and indo chinese lunch dishes such as Stew, roti Sabzi, Fried rice, Chilli chicken, rezala, Cutlets, and tea. All in all one should give this place a visit when looking for lunch in sealdah.

At first I apologise for writing such a long review. Actually, I could not resist myself from sharing my childhood memories to the readers. Please forgive me. It was1985. I was just twelve and reading in class VIII. My father, a teacher, along with all his colleagues, had to buy a lottery ticket in his school. The lottery was organised by Government of West Bengal to raise funds for building the Salt Lake Stadium. The prize was life membership of the stadium. When the result was declared, it was seen that my father was a winner. The secretary of the school, a prosperous businessman and the father of my most intimate friend, was another winner. Both the fathers decided to enlist their son's names for the membership. So it was my first visit to Calcutta, with my friend, his father and his father's business employees. They had a rented accommodation in B B Ganguly Street, near Bank of India. We boarded there. We used to have our breakfasts and afternoon tiffins in a nearby restaurant named Ananda Cabin. It was this restaurant, where I first had Mughlai Paratha. I can still remember that those Parathas were extremely delicious. I have had Mughlai Parathas many times later in my life in different places, but those of Ananda Cabin were unique. We also had other snacks there, like rolls, cutlets etc. all of which were very tasy, I swear. The manager and the staff were very amiable. I could not forget Ananda Cabin even after so long time.

Absolutely love their food... They cook soo very well and at a very cheap price as well. Definitely try their Laccha paratha.

Good restaurant for fast food. Although so many restaurants are there in Kolkata which run successfully with their products.
