Worth for every penny charged for. Staff needs to be trained properly. Lack of customer interaction as it's very old restaurant and a famous one. South Indian food is a must to order whenever you are visiting this place. And yes perfect for family meals.
One of the iconic vegetarian eatery in Chadni chowk area. Must try their dosa and ice cream. Tried them taste remains same. Highly disappointed with items like uttapam, pav bhaji and Raj kachori. Sorry to say Other eataries around esplanade area offer better taste. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is same like earlier days. However Not friendly for elderly/ physically disabled persons due to staircase.

They serve mostly snacks. South Indian dishes are the best here. Waiters are calm and serve you with a smile. Service is fast. Located on the main road. Reasonable pricing. Fully A/C
I just love the south indian food and the ambience. If you are pure veg and in search for some place where you can just park yourself from the sweltering heat of new market this is the place. But don't order the north indian chaats or dishes as they won't be upto the mark. The Traffic Jam sundae is worth trying.

One of my favorite places for South Indian food. Anand is a very old restaurant, I have been visiting it for more than 15 years now. The have maintained their food quality and service to be very good year after year. This is a very safe option if you want to try South Indian food, you can never go wrong with Anand. The chutney served here is one of the best I ever had. The food here is served fresh and made to order. A great place for friends, family and colleagues.
The south Indian food is great. Pizza is also delicious and Tutti Fruity is a must try. Value for money. Sometimes during 4-5 the waiters are less so service can be poor. Otherwise quick service during peak hours.
