During our stay in Tirthan valley we visited this Property. They have an amazing view of both rivers and mountains. The property itself is beautifully designed and maintained. Every nook and corner has something to admire. The food was tasty, we ordered cold coffee, fries and onion rings. Service was good and prompt. They have comfortable camps with the attached washroom.
Will never recommend to go this place. They switch of the electricity at night and disconnect the water supply. You will be accompanied by spiders, scorpions and other insects in the room. Rates are too high , meals are not included. The only best part was the service provided by Mr Negi and Mr Soni.
We just came back from Anand, and here's a detailed review, hope it helps 1) Location: this is the only best part of the property, it's on the opp side of the road & river is in between (makes it more loveable). However one has to park the car on the side road or prepay parking at a nearby shop, The resort doesn't have its own parking, we opted for prepay parking at a nearby shop (inr 200/- for 24hrs), entrance to resort is 150m offside, in between narrow lanes, tricky with elders and toddlers. As the camps are on elevated ground, it has a rough path which takes downhill to the river, (AGAIN to be double cautious with elders and kids) 2) food: isn't expensive, quite relatable compared to nearby cafes, but yes water and cold drinks are sold at 2x Mrp, better to get your own water/drinks from nearby shops. The taste and quantity is good, not WOW. Biggest disappointment is their food menu ( breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks/drinks) is very very limited ... It's a one sided one page menu... Have stayed at Airbnb and homestays, believe me it's a huge let down as options are damn limited 3) Camps: yes as stated they are luxury camps, with modern bathrooms (solar powered hot water, etc..) ideally it's worth it if u pay at max 3k without meals (anything more to it is premium, my personal take) they have generators but only switch it on during nights. 4) service: this where it's a big question mark, staff at resort is really really short staffed, ideally they only have 2 full time folks (which are jack of all trades, backed by a couple of part timers). One has to order like 1hr prior to anything... God forbid if there is a bigger group than urs, then preference changes to bigger ones... Mind you Vodafone doesn't work there, hence we had to rely on their wifi, which they switch on as if u hv asked them to distribute/share their treasure, everyday we had to plead to them to switch it on.... 5) Misc: there are swings, trampoline and games room for kids: BUT to utter disappointment none are manged properly, half things are either broken or missing.... In summary: stay here only for location, families with small kids and elders should avoid BIG TIME, only good for couples and large groups.... Opt for room only PKG...
The best part about this property is location and Mr Negi, who is always available and provide the best services.. But we really faced challanges due to electricity. First 2 days there was power cut and everyone's fne got discharged. It was too dark and there is not a single candle. I tried to call owner lot many times but he didn't respond to my calls and messages. Prior booking he was very responsive. Its like take the money and forget everything. Food is okay, they serve you hot but you have to be very patient for that.
Excellent service and hospitality. Great location and complete peace and relaxing here. Camping site. 24 hours you will hear sound of river flowing continuously. Take a bath in it as the property is on river side touch. A must visit place. Great hospitality by Negi and Soni Thakur. Never seen hospitality like this before.
Only thing stopping from giving 5 stars is that parking was not available for our cars.. Else everything 5star
Sincere request to repair the Trampoline kept in the park. It is a safety hazard for anyone jumping on the broken trampoline. The first aid kit is also missing at Anand Tirthan.
It's a nice property, ambiance and the view was appealing covered by mountains. The best part was sitting near river. I would not recommend to add the breakfast meals in the package as you can get it cheaper over there. Beautiful tents and wonderful riverside view.
