Anand Sweets & Savouries - Featured Reviews (6075)
Service : A-1 Hygienic and great quality food. North Indians can satisfy their cravings of chole bhature. Taste is very good, matches all the expectations. Ample sitting space. Service is fast. In sweets, bit on higher end but they do serve the best. Must visit for brunch or dinner.
I visited this place today evening, it was a wonderful surprise to eat testy chat items and like the name says Purani Delli, we have experienced the real tastyDelhi food . We tried grilled platter, Soya chappe, cholle bhature, pav bhaji and various kathi roles. It is a must visit place for North Indian food lovers.
The sweets were the best.. Personally i am not a fan of sweets but here i have eaten almost everything what we had taken.. the flavours were perfect.. The prices are reasonable.. If you are craving for some delicious North India, Indo chinese food and wish to treat yourself then your search ends here. From chats to rotis sabzi, Delhi style rolls to Chinese food, sweets and more you can find them all here. This place has a good ambience and fair seating capacity. It gets super crowded on the weekends and you must be ready to wait for at least 15-20 minutes. They have a limited car parking facility at the location. We tried many items here including pav bhaji, paneer roll, chat like bhel Puri, Raj kachori, papdi chat, dahi Puri, garlic fried rice, spring roll, panner butter masala pizza, soya chaap and rumali roti. Every single dish here was freshly made and super delicious. The price is a little on the higher side but totally worth it. Pros 1. Super delicious food 2. Seating facility with good ambience 3. Clean and hygienic place 4. Car parking facility Cons 1. The server at the sweet section is extremely rude and adamant. When we asked him why the quantity of a sweet given was less when compared to others kept on display, he bluntly refused to change it and spoke rudely. 2. Due to limited seating capacity the waiting times are high and so are the car parking slots 3. Price is a little on the higher side.
I bought samosas today along with sweets and was extremely disappointed to see, one of the samosas we found human hair, I doubt the hygiene maintained by this center. We have pregnant women, old parent and kid at home, today we found hair and what's the guarantee we don't find anything else tomorrow!! Anand sweets you need to make sure the staff who make samosas to use proper head gear and gloves to maintain hygiene.
I used to like Anand sweets very very much I have no idea how many times I have ordered from Anand. But this time all went wrong. I have ordered my favourite Kaju Katli, Kaju rolls and one burfi (yet to taste that) via Swiggy. But when I was eating Kaju roll, I got stucked with some black thread. I thought it might be something from the stuff in kaju roll. But when I pulled and found. Its a HAIR!!! From the most hygienic sweet food which I believe till date, cheated me. I have that strand of hair with me and I have taken picture for your reference. Since I doubt your hygiene, am not sure what am going to do with the rest of sweets :( really disappointed PS. The second pic I took is just for reference which I took after pulling out the strand and placed exactly where I found. It was fully inside kaju roll until I pull entire out.
We visited around 9:30pm there was a long queue due to the festival we waited for 30mins to get a seat... The food was good and a few dishes were average We ordered 1. Allu paratha - average 2 allu kulcha with dal makhani - kulcha was below average 3. Amritsar kulcha - average 4. Soya chap with roomali roti - It was good 5. Jalebi - delicious 6. Rajbhog - delicious Service - self Service The atmosphere was good and yeah neat and clean . The price was a bit higher. A lot of tasty sweet options are there and dryfruit are also there with nice packaging and yeah they have maintained good hygiene. Many other dishes are there to try it out.
Very good place for North Indian food lovers in Bangalore. They have the original taste of North India. Such a good ambience with hygiene. It's a self service. You'll get the order number with the bill to showcase them on food counters. Once your food is ready you'll see the order number on the screens. We had Chhole Bhature, Rumali roti & Chaap, Samosa, Rasmalai, Jalebi All were good in taste. It is quite more expensive than usual but worth trying. Also, if you want to eat peacefully then DON'T VISIT ON WEEKENDS because it has a HUGE RUSH on Saturday. It took 40 mins for us to get to the table. And yes, you will see a portion where they have gift hampers of Dry fruits and snack items. You can buy those to gift someone.
