We went to see this place when renovation work was going on, and they allowed us to go inside Anand Mahal , wow it is so beautiful inside also. I heard they are making musium or work places for the government, not sure about it.
Residential quarters made during the reign of Adil Shah II that is around 1660 CE or so. Under renovation / restoration as of now. Central part of Bijapur.
It is nice place. It was under renovation. I guess, few government office were there. I saw IGNOU office too. Bottom and side area, don't know exactly the purpose. But in entire bijapur, few monuments are having similar architecture.

I was exploring Bijapur and it was mentioned as a part of an old fort. I visited the place and this building has been fully occupied by different organisations. There were many offices. Also I saw a badminton court inside this building. There were many food shops around this building. Ceiling has an amazing painting but not maintained properly. This place needs government attention.
