Best place on Nature's lovers and advantures liker , lot of birds then ever Green Shola View's sun raise also good view Good Food and accommodation Here
We have reached Methap log house, but the road is in very bad condition. You should have extreme patience and a good vehicle with good ground clearance and good driving skills to reach there. It's a very remote road with nobody to help you in any condition. So your vehicle should be in very good condition with good tyres.
Beautiful picnic spot, worth seeing places....go on seeing the wildlife of nature with different animals and a variety of flora and fauna. Its good for photography , various college and school trips visited here and gain knowledge about the species that found here. Its one of the famous National Park of Kerela that was established in the year 2003. Mind blowing scenic beauty steals your heart for the nature. A beautiful place for nature Lovers ..... must visit once !
Terrain is tough with steep roads but we hot to see elephants
An awesome place away from the common tourist places at Munnar. I have been to Anamudi Shola National park for one bird and butterfly survey. I have stayed with my friends at Anamudi Shola Stone house whereas other team stayed at Anamudi Shola National park Log House. The climate was so awesome and so cold like winter in the month of February. The stay was nice with good basic facility. Forest department staff was very nice. Had simple but tasty food. From the watch tower one can have view of Deep shola forest at one side whereas Tea estates at the opposite side. Its really nice place for family to spend quality time together. Only BSNL network works here. Solar power is available so need to worry about electricity.. Many varieties of birds and butterflies are here. Please like if the review was useful to you.
A great experience of off roading when we travelled in our bikes in 2013. Beautiful, calm place. Big stones are through out the road, so that need to ride carefully without falling from. Now I heard that the public are not allowed to enter there without the official permission. Only localites have the permit to pass there. We can reach near to Kundala dam from Kanthalloor via this route with just under 20 kms. Otherwise we need to travel around 70 kms to reach via main road. Anyway it was such a great experience to pass there.
There is no other Forest similar to this one in Kerala. Fern trees are amazing. This is a beautiful forest land which generally free from human invasion.
Very good place to go with family... Good atmosphere.. we can feel the fresh air... Now it isnot that much cold... Still we can enjoy.... loved it....

Just a lovely sight to the eyes. Great place to get clicked. Although most of the estates are private so you might need permission to enter. There are few public photo points which your driver might know.
Mesmerized by the view of beautiful flower which bloomes only once in 12 years in specific areas, the floods spoiled the more parts but was able to grab the beautiful spots and nature shinning its own weather and spreading its wings. Munnar offers a
