Wow. What an amazing place! I stayed 14 days with Kiran and Pratika in this beautiful landscape full of nature and culture. Meditation, yoga and hindu life lessons in such a profound relaxing admosphere, with cows freely grazing around me, and the most exotic birds flying above. The rooms are very basic and the food is too, but it's definitely made with love and somehow quite diverse and oh so tasty! That's the cooking of the sweetest Indian woman there is (Kiran's mom). Then there are the lovely children with mental/physical disabilities and when you give then genuine human contact you get the sweetest smiles back:) Pratika teaches the other children from the school next door with such discipline and love. Those children can't stop but yell enthousiasticly when they see you 'Namaste sir! Goodmorning! How are you?' The village is busy and ashrams are making quite some noise in the early morning, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Kiran is an amazing guy who has a lot of charisma. He showed me around in the elderly home he created, and took me to the ashrams and festivities. He works very hard and for great cause. There is no doubt about it that he is a good man, with a good heart and I've learned quite an important lesson from him. To trust that life will unfold itself, you only have to chose the path with right intentions (The seed you plant will grow by itself). So yeah, if you want an unforgetable cultural and spiritual experience, this is the place to go!
This is a wonderful place for all those who are the happiest when in nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of our routine lives, this is a place where you can just BE. The people are warm and loving, the food is light, organic and delicious and the surroundings are peaceful. There is ample space for those who want to practise yoga and meditation or one can just sit and observe the many birds that can be seen in and around the property. You can have great conversations with Kiran, fellow travellers and some of the elders in the community. There is a small school right next to the aashram where one can volunteer to teach English or arts and crafts etc. The kids are adorable. All in all this is great place and an amazing experience.
Anahata healing arts center, thanks for its far-away-from-city location is the place where people can ultimately experience he peace of India countryside. The center is located close by to the lake which is home of different bird spices, easy to spot at anytime of the day. It's a lovely natural environment where to smooth the soul and get connected to the nature around and about. Please, consider to stay for at least few days to get he full connection feeling- mr Kiran (yogi and Ayurveda practitioner) and the rest of the community crew will delight you with life insights, delicious organic veg meals, fresh organic fruits from the farm of anahata. Hope you'll enjoy as much as I did :)
Anahata Healing Arts Centre is just a piece of heaven on earth. I feel totally honoured to have been able to spend time here with Kieran and his team. The village is situated in the lush farmlands of the rural south. Not long after my arrival did I learn that Kieran is a beloved member of the community and is on a mission to allow healthcare and healing to be accessible to anyone! How amazing! The centre holds a space of absolute serenity and peace where you are able to simple be and connect (or reconnect) with nature, furthermore yourself. The food is purely delicious and nutritious and I was spoilt with evening teas and fresh morning coffee. What can I say, I left feeling renewed, light and free- full circle of healing. Kieran was kind enough to take me on a day trip to visit a highly regarded monk a short drive out from the village. The monk lives among the coffee fields and coconut trees and I feel totally blessed to have been able to spend time with him and his team and experience these once in a life time opportunities! This centre deserves all the love it receives and the people are a humble representation of this and the culture. Highly recommend supporting this incredible team and their vision.
Anahata.. the hearth chakra. WAOW !! Absolute gem in India's broad spectrum of possibilities... I've stayed with Kiran for 3 weeks back in 2020.. I've found everything there : friends, little brothers & sisters, dedication, love, compassion, amazement. I've found my own light by staying with these young kids, playing & laughing with them.. just living a simple yet meaningful life. My words cannot translate the gratitude I have towards this place and Kiran for what it means in this world. This place is a sanctuary. Life in its whole is welcome and cherished here. While writing these lines, teardrops come tingle my cheeks on both sides. I've never felt so good, or so meaningful. I've never looked so good either hahah !! This place reveals the beauty that lays inside you, and splashes the darkness out with caring lightness. These kids.. are so awesome, they have taught me so much. I love them !! Kiran (the owner) is a ROCK , SOLID AND GROUNDED, UNSHAKEABLE ,and with an extraordinary lust for improvement and greatness.. he has been so very kind and encouraging with me. I wish I be there with him now, and learn from his wisdom and knowledge about oneself. To be very honest. The only reason I left this place is because I knew that if I stayed 3 more days here : i would've stayed there for a very very long time. And this idea frightened me.. *have I really found my rightful place on this earth?* my ego could not accept this and I left because I was scared I could finally experience genuine happiness.. My name is Thomas and I wish to deliver this message : if you are seeking for anything in life, if you feel lost or prisoner of something that holds you, there is a path you can take to existential freedom.. This path is the hearth. Does not matter how what when or where. If you follow what your hearth indicates you, you will never ever again feel like you did the wrong choice. Our hearth is the inner compass that guides our soul to the riverside of our home. So if your hearth is telling you to come here, let it be. Come, relax, grow, share, laugh and live. Live for the ones who survive. Live for the dead. Live for life. I have so much to share, and to tell but words are lacking for this life changing experience. Huge respect , and much love to Kiran and his great family. --- kiran if you read me, kiss to the kids (hope you enjoy the percussion yet ;) -- Forever in my hearth Thank you Thomas from Belgium
Perfect place for self reflection and slowing down. Vibes tranquil living and healing. This place is more than a healing center, it's a community that aims to provide and serve. Kiran who runs the place with his team is one of the most generous people I've ever met. He strives to develop his village and is a great visionary. The whole Anahata team is lovely and made us feel right at home. Thank you for your energy and love.
Anahata is a perfect place to relax, to be by yourself, to practice some yoga and to eat healthy organic food. My plan was to stay there around one week. In the end I ended up staying there 4 weeks which included one week of detox program. My stay at Anahata was lovely and it is a great place to experience authentic village culture in India. Kiran is an amazing person who welcomes and accepts everyone as they are. He also helps the local community by giving work to people in need, holding yoga classes at local school and making Ravandur a better place for kids with special needs and for underprivileged seniors. Thank you Kiran, Asia, Rakesh and the whole Anahata crew for making me feel part of the Anahata family!
I have just returned from the most amazing experience of my life. Everything about Anahata is very very special. The founder Kiran works tirelessly designing, building and evolving his incredible project, a beautiful oasis of natural peace in rural India, this project exists to offer local disadvantaged, disabled and mentally challenged people a chance to heal, a chance to live in perfect harmony with an organic vegetarian diet mainly sourced onsite. Some come on a daily basis, some stay onsite. Yoga is a big part of life here, whether like me a first time beginner to the most advanced, all set in the most amazing natural space, and hosted by the talented yoga master Kiran. I honestly believe this to be one of the most beautiful, magical and spiritual places on earth, all the people i met here at Anahata seem very happy, from the gardeners, builders, cook etc and all work together in pure harmony. there is no set timetable to adhere to, do what you like when you like, interaction with the children is wonderful and taught me so much. I do not have one bad or negative thing to say about Anahata or Kiran (inspirational), if you are fortunate to be able to visit you will be dumbfounded by its natural beauty, and by the life and love it exudes. I feel honoured and extremely privileged to have been able to visit and to become a part of the Anahata family, I hope to return soon. Dear Kiran, thank you for everything, it was perfect.
