Anaamaya Medical Institute - General hospital in Payyanur - Kannur, India

This hospital is a good option for those who prefer a less crowded and more private atmosphere. It has plenty of space, parking availability, and good facilities. Pricing is high, which may not be affordable for everyone.

"Please avoid this hospital. The management is terrible. My wife was given the wrong medicine while breastfeeding, including high-dose antibiotics meant for someone else. A nurse or doctor made a serious mistake in prescribing the wrong medicine. Be cautious and choose another hospital for your safety." Hospital never take customer as first policy , As you can see that in employee attitude.

Poor maintenance and housekeeping done on the building.. Strange thing is that there were no hand wash bottles available in the washroom. So all the government agencies and medical professionals are promoting hand wash frequently, Here in a hospital, they even failed to provide a single bottle of hand wash. From this only you can analyze the quality of hospital. Secondly, Main reception doesn't even have a POS Machine, we need to go to pharmacy for using our Cards. Update( 11/09/2022): Now POS machine available. After talking to PRO about the hand wash issue, they provided one hand wash bottle in the washroom. But still cleanliness is very poor in the rooms. Photos attached. Pros: (1)Cashless Insurance facility. None of the other hospital are providing this in Payyanur. (2) Doctors and Nurses are friendly. (3) Parking space is good. (4) Less crowded. Cons: (1) LAB results are taking too much time. Already complained about this to PRO. (2) Cleanliness is very poor. Especially in rooms. I stayed 3 days in their standards room. Poor washrooms. Housekeeping is in poor state. No one is there to inspect the cleanliness after they done their cleaning. (Washroom photo attached) (3) Pharmacy taking too much time to deliver the medicine. (4) They simply increased consultation fee for each doctor, but failed to provide quality service for the amount that we are paying. Especially in cleaning.

Recently I had my first visit in Anaamaya Medical Institute, Payyanur for appointment with Dr. Vishwan V, Gynecologist for my wife and subsequently underwent a surgery. Since first time in life going for a surgery, we were very much tense but he made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Dr Viswan V is wonderful and friendly and we can trust and connect with. hospital is clean, hygienic. overall experience with hospital staffs especially nurses n others and their service from beginning to end is invaluable and commendable. I would suggest more improvement in bathroom and quality of food in Canteen.

I have a bad experience with doctor Haridas( pediatrician)in Anaamaya hospital.Due to my daughter's viral fever I went to meet this doctor but he not accepted for any treatments ,and he told go to some other hospital i don't want to take risk without checking my daughter ,he told me before you consulting other doctor now youarecoming to here like that so badly he was spoken with us .After we went to BKM hospital and started treatments. Never ever recommending this doctor, very rude person.

Good clean and spacious hospital with good doctors. I consulted ENT doctor Dr Adarsh with vertigo. He was very humble and explained to me about the disease and performed vertigo exercise on me. After he did that exercise I didn't have a single episode of vertigo. Moreover explaining about my medical condition cured my 90% of disease. Thank you doctor.

The Nursing staffs are very caring, nice and friendly. It's been a great experience. Room quality needs to be improved. Feedbacks given to the PRO teams were not taken seriously.

One of the best hospitals in payyanur...All staffs are good...My sister delivery was from this hospital...Dr. Vishvan...he is a gem!! Received good service and care!!
