The place offers end to end solutions to almost any eye issues, including complicated surgeries. It is equipped with modern equipment and headed by very expert doctors. It also has corporate tie-up with many insurance companies and has in-house stores of many high end spectacle companies. The main building also has a medicine shop. Overall a favorable experience. But some of the staff need to have better coordination among themselves. And it would have been nice if the place accepted patients covered under WBHS and similar schemes.

Only problem is with their staffs. The reception area is overly crowded with inefficient people. Only to confirm an appointment they take eternity. They will stare at you with such blank look that you may get agitated. At reception they will ask you to wait in the lobby for 7-8 times. Once they will call your name to get reassure that your name is on their list. Then again they call you to see that you are the same person or not. Then an introductory form fill up. So on and so forth. After that they will call you for billing. After billing they will ask you to wait again. The system is too complicated that they don't understand to operate or they themselves are inefficient is a doubt. To reach the doctor you have to go through several phases and then if your good luck winks, you may reach the doctors chamber. Then again wait for eternity. About Dr. Arup Chakraborty. His experience and his comforting behaviour is appreciable. Even in this market of misguided medical management he will think about saving your money and give the best treatment. No idea about other doctors. Only the staffs are downgrading this institution. May be too many cooks are spoiling the broth.

My left eye was operated on 13 th oct.23 morning and after operation they have taken in cash but not given any bill or money receipt. Calling them regularly they refused to give any receipt or acknowledgement I hope this is their regular practice to make an adjustment Behavior of the staffs are also very rough.

We booked for 47K package additionally paid few thousand bucks, nearing to approximately 50k. Horrible staff. After cataract operation, my mother was made to keep the OT dress in the bin all by herself. Nurse made us wait for other patients to explain together the medicines.after gathering 3 patient she started explaining then also she conveyed incomplete information. Never experienced such unprofessionalism ever in private organisation where we are spending so much money. If you avail mediclaim, then they will lure you by communicating (SMS) that such sanction amount is INITIAL but be rest assured that you will not be getting any more amount. Will never recommend anyone to go there.

Amulya Jyoti Eye Foundation at Monoharpukur Road near Lancedown Road is a small but well equipped day care eye centre. There are a few reputed eye surgeons and renowned surgeon Dr. Arup Chakraborty is one of them. It starts from 8am and besides other surgeries, mainly cataract surgery is done using the latest techniques. There is no separate car parking space.

Doctors are good and the facilities available also good,Very good staff...very co-operative, And optical Store is good ans behaviour is so well I am happy with their services.

Excellent Doctors, efficient staff, well maintained reception area, only OT reception area needs a larger space.
