Kuzhi paniyaram is very well made and served with seven different types of chutney and sambar. A very tasty item.
A very great place to try different chutney specials and interesting recipes. Located inside streets of Srirangam, this place is definitely a must try for neighbour community.
The food is very tasty. The ambience is very welcoming and the cooking is doing right in front of our eyes and I found the environment to be very hygienic. The staff were very polite and customer friendly and most importantly displayed happiness and pleasantness in serving the customers. The restaurant sometimes get crowded and that is expected of any eating joint that serve good food, however one need not wait for too long to get a place to sit and eat in the joint. Overall I will recommend this as a "Must Go" place for everybody right from kids to aged people. The food available is appealing to all the tastes and all the ages.
Excellent place where you get different varieties of Dosas and traditional south indian food and the taste is homely and the cost is also nominal. The place is open only in the evening time from 06.30 pm. The place gives a homely atmosphere and one more thing not to forget.... They provide seven varieties of chutney with Dosas and also sambar.
Food quality and side dish varieties are good. But, needs improvement in terms of ambience and at serving stalls. In peak hours you have to be in a queue with plates in your hand, just as if you are a hostel student. Yet good to give a try.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amudhu Hotel, a haven for vegetarians seeking a diverse and flavorsome culinary experience. The establishment boasts an extensive menu featuring a wide array of tiffin items, and my visit left me thoroughly impressed. The culinary journey began with the Idiyappam set, a delightful dish that showcased the hotel's commitment to quality. The idiyappam itself, priced at a reasonable Rs 50 for 2 pieces, was tender and satisfying. While the accompanying gravy or kurma was average, the multitude of chutneys stole the show. From the classic coconut chutney to the unique curry leaves chutney, each offered a burst of distinct flavors. The sambar, too, was commendable. Next on my culinary adventure was the Kuli Paniyaram, a true testament to the chef's expertise. Served in sets of 5 for a mere Rs 25, these bite-sized wonders were not only a pocket-friendly option but also a burst of flavors that paired perfectly with the array of chutneys provided. To round off my dining experience on a sweet note, I opted for the Appam accompanied by Thenga Paal and Naatu Sakkarai. The combination of the soft appam, sweet coconut milk, and jaggery powder was a revelation. It was a delightful dessert that left a lasting impression. The self-service model at Amudhu Hotel, where tokens are obtained for each dish before settling the bill, adds a unique touch to the dining experience. The cleanliness of the premises and the polite demeanor of the staff further contributed to the overall positive impression. In conclusion, Amudhu Hotel is a culinary gem for those seeking a vegetarian feast. The diverse menu, wallet-friendly prices, and a commitment to quality make it a standout choice. My visit was not just a meal; it was a delightful journey through a tapestry of South Indian flavors. I highly recommend Amudhu Hotel to anyone in search of a satisfying, vegetarian culinary experience.
