Although it's a railway station for a holy city, the authorities are totally indifferent to the maintenance of this station. Please consider the importance of this station and provide the basic convenience required to the pilgrims and tourists. Looks like just basic cleaning is done but no maintenance of property or repairs.

Amritsar Junction is officially last railway station in Punjab. Because not Atari Railway station not using often to travel from the major cities. It is the famous Railway station to go for Golden Temple.

It's a huge railway station. There is ample space for parking. Cleanliness is not good. I visited in Amritsar yesterday and found repairing and maintenance work was carrying on which is very good. I hope in the future this railway station makes one of the amazing stations in the country.
The outside of Amritsar Railway station is very poorly managed. The foot over bridge infront of the station is completely waste and dirt and usable by people
Railway station was ok, but the management outside railway service by auto Walas is worst. They are lutoying passengers like anything. From railway station to mandir side reasonable charges is 100 rs but when we took 1st time auto they were asking us for 300 some of them was asking 400. So don't fall for them. Just try to bargain or look for another auto they have lot of autos but every one ll ask some price. Also there is one shuttle is there from railway station to golden temple with free of cost. We got this information later. Sharing it here so anyone visiting the place can refer this. Bus is in yellow in colour it's direct bus and it's free.
