Amritara Sadka , Amritsar - Hotel in Amritsar - Amritsar, India

Amritsar has heavy, noisy traffic and this hotel is in the thick of it. Our room was right above the traffic, pedestrians, scooter park and a pack of dogs. This was the room I was offered when I asked for a quiet room! The room was spacious but had an extractor fan that wouldn't switch off and there was no hot water. The worse thing was the window sill (inside) was thick with dirt, pigeon feathers and droppings! The only saving grace was the breakfast which was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful moving us across to their sister hotel which was a significant improvement.

Hospitality was simply superb. The staff persons were very courteous. The supervisor in the restaurant served breakfast with great smile. One staff from the restaurant called me over the phone at 9pm in the night and asked me whether food is required. This is one solid example to show how they take care of the guests. I would recommend this place for people visiting Amritsar.

This is an average place. Not a 4 star, at max 3. Don't be fooled by the photos. My personal experience Pros: The staff is friendly Very near to golden temple Good bathrooms Room service is good Cons: There is trash dump and open toilet right in front of property No parking Rooms are average at best (ac works partially, beds and bedsheet are worn off) Buffet has minimal amount of dishes Food from restaurant is average

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Amritara The standout feature of my stay was undoubtedly the restaurant service provided by Gulzar. Gulzar's dedication to providing excellent service was evident throughout. Moreover, the staff at the hotel were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. The attention to detail and personalized care I received during my stay made me feel valued as a guest. The location of Amritara is also worth mentioning. Situated in a convenient area, it provided easy access to popular attractions such as the Golden Temple. This added convenience allowed me to explore the vibrant city of Amritsar with ease. I highly recommend this hotel for its impeccable service and warm hospitality.

Positives: 1. The hotel has great location. 2. Top ranked hotel based on guest reviews. 3. Any room service request is quickly handled. 4. Many popular eateries like Giani Di Lassi, Bharawan Da Dhaba, Golden Temple are located nearby. 5. Room rates are value for money. 6. Quick walk around the hotel, you will come across various shops such as for shoes, clothes, sweets, etc. You get a good old-world charm feeling but be careful of the close-calls of all the 2 wheelers and Electronic Rickshaws. 7. Gulzar the 4th Floor cafe during the breakfast service was the star. He was eager to serve and keep the guests happy & satisfied. Any request to him was also replied with a BIG "YES SiR". my parents and family were really impressed by him. The hotel management should keep hold of good staff like him and should further guide him as this man alone will help to drive return business. 8. The breakfast star items were the Guava Juices which literally we consumed whole of it and the various paranthas. Negatives: 1. The hotel should try to keep the surrounding areas of the hotel clean. When arrived, we literally had to get off near a garbage dump. 2. We found the guards not helpful enough. 3. The Front Office team seems to lack energy and motivation. 4. Whenever we walked through the lobby, the staff would literally would put their backs to us. 5. We were not wished, Good morning, Good evening, etc. at all during the stay. 6. The menu for the breakfast items should be easily available as the hotel was not serving buffet menu which is understandable as the occupancies were low as its a week day.

We had booked a room in amritara kripa but since we reached early in the morning GM of the hotel upgraded us in amritara sadka.amritara sadka is a clean four star hotel with all the amenities and very polite helpful an amicable staff.if we come again to amritsarwe will again visit this hotel

excellent and tremendous stay at this hotel. one of the prime and prominent hotel present in this area and one should consider this while staying in amritsar. everything was exceptionally great. food and staff was very quick, humble, helpful, and easy to guide to all your queries

The rooms were standard with clean linen and bathrooms. The staff was courteous and professional. We flew on the red eye and reached the hotel really early in the morning and requested the property to help us with early check-in. They accommodated us as soon as the first room became available. The location is almost a kilometre from the Golden temple , so you can either take an e-rickshaw or walk, we chose the latter and explore the markets around. The breakfast was complimentary but it's easily passable as the spread was really limited. Better to explore local food joints nearby. Overall it was a pleasant stay with value for money. Definitely recommend.
