Amritara Jawai Resort , Jawai - Resort hotel in Pali, Sena - Pali, India

We received a call from the property manager Mr Jaswant on the day of our arrival enquiring about our time of arrival. When we reached the village in which the resort is located, we were informed by the villagers that the road to the resort is flooded, and we can't go there in our Innova. But Mr Jaswant had already sent two of his staff to take us to the resort. We were informed that we have to take a boat to reach the resort. My wife got panicked as to where is this located for which we have to take a boat ride. But it was a nice short boat ride. The water was not more than four feet deep. We were welcomed by Mr Vikas Chauhan, General Manager himself and he took personal interest to make our stay memorable ( he does it for all the guests!!) Every time you have to go anywhere, they will take you in the boat. And we must say that we thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride. They made arrangement for our driver to stay in the village. But this boat ride experience is available only during monsoon season when they store water in Jawai reservoir. After November the water is released for irrigation and the road becomes operational, so you won't be able to enjoy the boat ride. It's like paradise - beautiful, calm, clean property with fresh air free of any pollution overlooking the Jawai Dam. You will hear only chirping of birds during the daytime and chirping sound of crickets during night. The view from our room was superb with granite rocks on one side and water in front beyond which are more granite rocks. You get to see superb sunset from the balcony. Choose Paradise View room which is on first floor. It justifies its name. The rooms are big and nice with a large balcony. The entire team of the property is super gentle, humble and caring. They take good care of the guests. They prepared local delicacies for us, and the food was super tasty. This being a small property one gets personalised service. On our request they provided us millet rotis also. We are just back from there and we have already started planning for our next visit.

Beautiful property at remote location in Jawai!! Overall experience was quite thrilling. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Though this property is quite remote with no internet and disruptive wifi services. Be ready for digital detox there.

The Scenic serene view from the room says it all. The location of the resort and the service provided by each staff at the hotel makes the experience king size. The rooms are clean, the chef took care of giving a personalised menu with variation and good taste. All the staff , be it at the Reception, Restuarant or house keeping made an effort to take care of our smallest need. The safari to spot the leopard is worth an experience. Just not to see the leopard but the four wheel drive up and down the hill and through the forest is an thrilling experience. Cherry on the cake was, we went for the safari on a full moon evening, where we saw the sun sunset and moon rise very beautifully. The hotel had packed us hot tea and coffee with snacks to enjoy during the safari. Was one of the best moments to cherish admist the nature. Thank you Amritara team for it all. And yes not to forget we also loved the time we spent in the pool.

Very good place for peacefull holidays away from chaotic city life. One can see Dam from room's balcony. Service and hospitality is five star standard. Food is awesome and prepared as per choice. Jeep safari on hill rocks is thrilling and memorable experience.

Location is really close to the safari site, it has some amazing views too! You can see Dam from your room balcony. The food is good too. The hotel is surrounded by mountains!

Best place for safari. Can go more then once. Safari drivers specialy name Arvind has very good experiance to safari and driving on rocks.

Stayed here for one night. Nice big comfortable rooms. The food was very good. Amazing views of the dam from the room. The safari is just not to be missed, went on the safari twice and were lucky enough to spot the leopards both the times. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall a great stay. Advice - pls contact the hotel before you reach as google maps is not reliable due low network.
