This amrit sarovar is India's first amrit sarovar built in patwai. Earlier it used to be a small pond with lots of dumps and garbage. Now they have completely renovated it. Earlier you could enjoy boat rides in the sarovar but now they all sit idle in the corner, it was the only activity you could enjoy here but now it is just a typical pond. Usually the place remains empty. But it has given patwai a distinct identity.
It was a great pleasure for me and my friends Imran and Mustafa to have visited here.
Where previously polluting garbage used to be scattered, due to the foresight of the Prime Minister, today Amrit Sarovar has been built there. It has the distinction of being the first among more than 25,000 lakes built during Amritkal, the 75th Independence Day.
Overrated place. People didn't care about the place. The beauty has ruined.
Awesome place
I would never want to go to such an extravagant place in my life again. Total westage of hard earned money of taxpayers.
