I was staying nearby so went to check out this jewelry store. Definitely a smaller place, but had the selection that I was looking for. Will be going back.
Nice rustic place. It's not posh furnished like all other jewelers. But the patterns are unique and different. The employees didn't seem to be interested in showing us stuff. It took around 10 minutes to just turn on the Ac. The display is nice and rustic. It really does enhance the look of the jewelry and the shop. I haven't seen something that suits so naturally. This is the first time I've felt like saying that it looks 'natural and organic'.
Jewelry shop that craters to a more modern crowd. It's not your typical jewelry shop. The designs are more bold and different. The ground floor consists of the ornaments made of gold and in the first floor they a collection of silver ornaments with gold coating. The silver with gold coating ornaments look so real that one can not make out the difference between real gold and this one. The variety is limited though and they do not take anything for order. If you don't find some thing you like but not of your size then consider it as your bad luck.
The sales people who sit in this store have no interest in helping people. We reached there on Sunday at 3:15pm (store closes at 4pm). We were looking for specific earrings to match my necklace for an important event. At 3:45, the sales woman has the audacity to tell me "madam, please choose fast, we close at 4." Probably she hasn't got a briefing on what her job requires her to do. At this point we had shortlisted a few pieces and were just checking the extensive collection to see if we missed out anything. We told her that we were very sorry to inconvenience her and left immediately without purchasing anything. She didn't really care, as long as she got to pack up and leave by 4. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this particular Amrapali store ever again.
Priyanka, the sales lady was extremely arrogant, sloppy and unwilling to show us the necklaces. Fortunately, Rani, Priya and Prema made up for the shopping experience.
Always a good experience to visit the store especially for silver jewelry. All the staffs are very well behaved and the best part is they don't mind clicking pictures of their pieces.
Frankly, quite disappointing. More so because the staff seem to have no interest in serving their customers, some of them being outright rude. Won't be visiting this branch again. Also - no photos allowed.
