Best government hospital for Women and children in kannur district, located in parassinikkadavu. Very near to parassinikkadavu snake park and only 2 km far from Dharamshala, National highway. Very neat, clean and calm hospital and atmosphere. All kind of maternity and other services are available for women and children. Special medical segment available for children's . Medical store , canteen and dormitory services also available. Visitors entry is time restricted with pass. Such a wonderful initiative from kerala government. And one another specialities of this hospital complex is it's completely plastic free!!. Only the things needs to be improved is staff behaviour.

It's a relatively new hospital facility but the attitude is the same as any other government hospitals. Here, they ( Doctors, Staff and Nurses) prefer to have more pregnancy and delivery cases than helping normal casualties. I have been there for helping a few people specially aged women but the hospital staff normaly try to push you out and ask you to go to some other hospitals for wound dressing etc. Google maps' 3 star for their facilities and medical support for pregnancy and deliveries.
